Just curious. I know a lot of times the characters folks feel looks the coolest get swept up fast (fearing Trap Shadow's release), but I've just been hugely unlucky find one in any of my local stores (1 TRU, 1 Best Buy, 2 Targets, 4 Wal-Marts, 5 Gamestops).

And the split seconds that he is up on the TRU site to order, I'm usually 1 minute too late.

Sort of a vent (apologies), but also rather curious if I am missing something regarding his rarity.

If you have one in your area, I've had better luck finding Wave 2 figures at Shopko.

Fire Kraken is popular, not rare. He doesn't stay on shelves long.

Expect Jade Fire Kraken to literally bounce off of shelves when he's released..

There were a few at my Best Buy when I went to look for Crusher last night. I think there were 3 or 4 of them, though the pegs and shelves were sort of empty.

He's popular and wave 2 isn't fully distributed yet.

I'm in the US, but I saw a lot of them in Toys R Us last night and the Targets around here have had him in stock as well. Wave 2 seems a lot more plentiful since Black Friday, so maybe ask if they have any in back.

I was starting to see them right before Black Friday. One Walmart had an end cap full of wave 2 and a Kmart had a whole display full of wave 2. TRU was also getting flows of them (meaning they were coming in, selling out, and getting more back in). After Black Friday, a lot of stores were out of stock. I even went to Target, because I had a $3 coupon I had gotten from their Catalina machines, I decided to see if I could find a $10 core Skylander, but they were completely out. They had plenty of Nitro packs, so I decided to pick one up along with a couple of wave 1 swappers to get the B2G1 free. I later realized I was being silly because I went in to get a Skylander for $7, but ended up spending $40. I ended up taking it all back because I overspent. That's what I get for getting caught up in exclusives (by wanting the Nitro pack even though I didn't like the double pack) and the deals (not stopping with the 2-pack but thinking that as long as I was going to buy it, I might as well get 3 more for the deal). I really need to watch myself

I don't think I really watched myself as I was looking from the inside and couldn't see myself . Either way, I need to watch my money more . I'm normally good at it, but I was picking up so much stuff for different people that I didn't keep up with it all

Out of all the stores I've been to (I'm in Virginia, USA), the only Wave 2's I've seen are Night Shift, Boom Jet, Grilla Drilla, and Riptide. That's it, no Scorp, Fire Kraken, S2's or S3's. Fire Kraken is rare, I think.

I didn't buy the double pack of Fire Kraken and Grilla Drilla when i saw it at my local Target because im waiting for Jade Fire Kraken.

there is always many many Fire Krakens around me here in my stores

I found several at TRU, today. Along with all the other wave 2s.

Very odd. I'll keep plugging away, and worse comes to worse, I'll hold out for jade when we know his release details.

Fire Kraken? He's the most common wave 2 character here.

Well, at TRU this morning, GhostRoaster and I helped them open case after case of Wave 2 while looking for Jolly (and kinda looking for greenies, too). I thought their shelves were full - but that was not even considering the load of stock they haven't put out yet at all. They were probably going to put a dozen and a half Fire Kraken on the shelves today alone, and it still wasn't everything they had in backstock.
