Yeah. Though fanjo mentioned this in the UK hunting topic. Hopefully something will come of it on Friday. I don't really fancy dodging Christmas shoppers in town:

The main store was Amazon.de, the figures are listed, but no date now, so I expect they've changed now as with Amazon.fr.

Yes, if story mode was the highlight, then this game would've never made it past the entry SSA. Unfortunately, Activision is counting on the "mindless exploration" aspect a bit too much...and we do in fact need more content to justify these purchases. It will catch up to them sooner or later.

I just don't get why the don't release any of the swappable earth or mask symbols....you can't finish boards on the game without them...why wouldn't they release them before Christmas they would make a killing!

MrsSlamBam ... you just stated exactly why they haven't yet released Swappable Earth characters or "Sneak"/Mask symbol characters yet.

From Activision's marketing stand-point, they are absolutely purposefully and intentionally withholding certain characters to keep collectors and gamers "hungry" for Skylanders. It's worked well for them so far; there's no reason for them to stop the practice, no matter how much it may irk us collectors and fans ... we still buy them anyway.

One of the shift managers at my local TRU today said that this sunday 12/8 they are getting the Jolly Bumble Blast and then the following sunday 12/15 they will be starting to sell all the new characters!

Here's to hoping that shift manager is correct!

Well that would be great if that happens, it does seem to trend with recent releases on Sundays.

Again, please do not post hearsay and unconfirmed rumors from TRU or GameStop employees about release dates without first corroborating the information with at least one other store employee, preferably at another store location. History has shown us that these second or third-hand hearsay/rumors from TRU and GameStop employees (even managers) are wrong far more often then they are correct.

Yep ... it's totally OK to hope and wish. That's half the fun.
However, when it comes to reporting release dates here, we have to adhere to some minimum standard of reliability.
Otherwise, we're creating false hope, and that's not the type of hope we want for our users.

Ok BahamutBreaker you seem to know a lot.... so you think MAYBE a few wave 3 single pack regular skylanders will be release maybe a few days before Christmas. ..but the swappable not till the end of January?

If the rumors are true, we may see the regular characters around the 15th, and the Swappers later.

Wasn't just hearsay or rumors, she had a stock list at the counter with her. Wouldn't tell me all the characters but would just tell me 12/15.

Well I'm willing to take the risk of being at tru on three 15th to see if any wave 3 are there....

amazon.it has the three swappers, the battle pack / adventure pack and two lightcores available this month, and the reposes in this wave coming next month. My suggestion is that wave 3 comes in two parts based on the information on that site. Another way of putting it is that the first half will "trickle" this month with full onslaught of stock in January.

Man! I missed out on Stink Bomb, or I would've opted to go through them. I will hang tight with my Amazon.com order, I reckon.
