Gamestop Play Day! (Great Deals inside!) [CLOSED]

This Saturday, Dec 7th, Gamestop is holding a Play Day at local stores!

The battle pack isn't a great deal unless they have the Scorpion Striker or the Golden DFC.

Amazon has the DFC pack on sale all the time and is currently $10.

What surprises me is that JBB is actually standard retail price and not the extra $1 GS likes to add onto variants. Scarlet Nintendo, Polar Whirlwind, and Pumpkin Eye Brawl all were priced at $1 more than their regular counterparts. No reason to bother with go unless you just really want JBB early.

All my Nintendos are scarlet, I prefer it for my nintendo systems. Red Wii, Red 3DS, and a Red GBA SP. smilie


Anyway, on topic. Seems like a nice deal for the battle pack, would get it for Golden Cannon, if I didn't already have S2 Chop Chop, Shroomboom, AND LC Hex. Maybe if instead of LC Hex it was afigure I didn't have I might go for it, but I can't justify $20 just for the Golden Cannon and 3 figures I have, when I have the normal cannon.

If I recall correctly, the Famicom (the NES in Japan) was actually scarlet (and gold) in color. Pointless knowledge, I know, but you read it so it is stuck in your brain now ... smilie
