Spyro's Adventure Lightning Deal [CLOSED]

Pretty excited! Just managed to hit the $29.99 lightning deal for Spyro's Adventure Starter Pack.
It has been over $50 everywhere I have been looking.

Best buy had the 360 / ps3 ones in store for $20 today

Well, still the best I had seen for the Wii starter pack.

Looks like there will be another lightning deal today for Spyro's Adventure on PS3 and Giants on Nintendo 3DS.


I picked up 3 of the adventure packs for SSA for $9.99 each so feeling pretty good about my collection so far.

Not sure why they "hold on" to just released prices.

Seems surprising, but any store I've hit the past few weeks has in deed "held on" to those just released prices.

I love LEGO video games, because give 'em 3 months and they'll be $19.99!

It always kills me when they release them at $40-$50. They usually drop to $19.99 within a month. So why release it at that high price to begin with? We picked our son up a couple of games on Black Friday with the TRU B1G1 for $1 on the $14.99 - $19.99 games. We were looking at the Lego games and trying to decide and knew he would love the Lego Marvel game, but it was $50! We ended up settling for Batman 2. I didn't care for the first one, but I think it was because it was on Wii and I didn't care for the controls. We got it for Xbox, this time, and having the other characters makes it seem more fun. Our only other options were Indiana Jones (which my son may or may not completely get), Harry Potter (which my son might like, but has only watched the first movie), Star Wars (which we have 2 already on the gamecube that he can still play on the wii), and Lord of the Rings (which, again, he may not completely understand).

Man....kinda wish I had a PS3. The lightning deal for Spyro's Adventure on PS3 is $16.99 right now.
