Last night my game went into a Groundhog Day mode. Every time I would close and reopen the app, I would be at the same point as the last time that I opened it. The shrines were ready for collecting gold/wish stones, Nitro Magna Charge was back from an adventure, etc.

I tried all the usual solutions. Closed and reopened app. Closed all apps and rebooted iPad. Switched to airplane mode. And finally uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

When I tried to get back into the app after reinstall, it would load to about the 70 % mark then give an error. After trying twice, I gave up and went to bed.

When I awoke, I found everything to appear initially to be back to normal. So, I proceeded according to my plan to purchase Enchanted Hoot Loop and clear the sheep mobs I had been saving for him.

That is when I discovered an issue. The Enchanted Hoot Loop adventure is somehow messed up. Instead of detailing the three tasks, it details only that I need to have or buy the character. Below that are two tasks that simply say Done. The have or buy task also says Done and has a green check mark. The two empty Done boxes have no check marks.

I have taken out the required 8 sheep mobs and have sent him on either 6 or 7 Magic Adventures. Of course, none of that is reflected in the overall mission.

If anyone has any ideas what will fix this, I would appreciate it. Strangely, all of my other incomplete missions appear to be fine. I was hoping to score the Magic Shrine.

You will need to reach out to ActiSupport on either Twitter or Facebook. They have to fix the issue from your cloud save.

I do not, as far as I know, use my cloud account for anything else can Activision see other stuff we have saved?

My husband will not have an account for this reason.

I'm not sure what you mean? Are you talking about the iCloud? This is different. The cloud isn't iCloud. iCloud is just Apple's cloud system. Activision has their own cloud system. The only thing you are saving to their servers by having an Activision account is your game save. I'm not even sure calling it a cloud is really that accurate. It's just backing up your game save data and not storing much else. No different than playing any other online game.
