It's not really math when you look at it, it's mainly memorization. Math comes in when you're trying to use the IVs you already know to figure out what type a pokemons hidden power would be, but there's a guy in the game that tells you so it doesn't matter. That damage calculating stuff joe put in that Xerneas and yveltal topic was just percentages. Not that hard.

And don't you think you might as well use what you've learned in school for something enjoyable?

I've come up with perfect IVs for a timid charizard, an adamant scolipede, and a timid noivern so far. Now I'm working on a defensive rotom :3

I honestly just threw one Premier Ball it and it caught it... It was Adamant with 31 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 as its IVs. I couldn't have been happier xD. Oh, and it was Adamant :3 (I have X)

I think it's cause they're based off swallows, and if I remember right swallows make noise. Idk exploud gets it so that's all that matters

I also got Zygarde in a Ultra Ball without lowering it's health, i'm now heading to get Moltres

I caught Zygarde, Mewtwo, Articuno, and Moltres easily. It took a few ultra balls for each of them. Although the first time I battled Zygarde he decimated my team, second time, not so much. I'm dissapointed, I caught the post game legandaries within 10 turns each, I like to go for a little while like Uxie had me going in Diamond, that stupid thing wouldn't stay in the damn ball, but at least it was a fun challenge!

I think game freak realized that people got pissed at trying to get a competitive legendary if they were so hard to catch to begin with

You can't get Shiny Reshirma or Zekrom. The game is supposed to be set to prevent it from occuring. Which owuld mean hacks and if hacks, then Pokemon Bank will auto-release them.
