Anyone know if alter egos will be on sale on Friday?

I am trying to work out what time it is here when it is 4 am PST whatever that is.

Special events sometimes start on PST time not on our time.

We better get this worked out now before people get upset.

12 pm is noon so that is only an 8 hour window.

4am PST is 12pm (noon) GMT, so if they use PST instead of your local time, your sale will be from 12 noon until 8pm.

It would actually be 10 PM, as he is GMT + 10

It started for me, right at 4am, looks like there's no need to worry about time differences in different countries.

Is there anything actually work buying in the sale?
Really want balloons to go on sale again.

Same here.. Sale started exactly right at 4am.. And in less than 5 mins it got me 19 new skylanders unlocked..

So... assuming I've already unlocked them all via toys, there isn't really anything here I should be looking out for?

Apparently it's an 80% sale off Skylanders. I only say that, and that was yesterday. I haven't been on SLI today yet.

Is it just the 80% off Skylanders? I thought people were also saying Alt houses were coming back.

I think it's this weekend.

I'm trying to decide what to get. Swap Force Skylanders would be the best bet to get gems from the bats. Getting, at least, one of each element would almost guarantee a couple of gems for each bat ( except for earth). So I'm definitely wanting to get some of those. Thought about getting dark Blast Zone & Wash Buckler since I will probably never get those figures. But if I get the regular versions, I would get the gems back after my son opens the game at Christmas. Then I can take a chance on earning the dark ones with spins later on. Funny thing, I went to buy Enchanted Hoot Loop to get in on the times quest and ended up accidentally buying the regular one . At least I had enough gems to buy both, but that was 60 gems I could have used for another Skylander.

Speaking of getting gems back when entering a Skylanders code, does this work for multiple uses? My wife, daughter and I all play and we each use the code for each Skylander we have. So if we all buy say Enchanted Hoot Loop when my daughter opens it on Christmas can we all put the code in and get refunded gems or does each code refund gems just once?

Each of you should get your gems back (have seen this with my kids and myself). Unfortunately, the game does seem to remember what you paid for them, so you'll only get back the sale price if you get them on sale.

I decided to buy one of each element available. I bought Boom Jet, Grilla Drilla, Rattleshake, Blast Zone, and Wash Buckler. I already had both Magna Charges and bought both Hoot Loops, this morning. I'll eventually get the gems back for Blast Zone and Wash Buckler, since I have them unopened. Now I'm just short of getting a house, tomorrow. If I hadn't bought the extra Hoot Loop, I would have had enough. Oh well. I wish the Legendaries would work on the regular versions (since they don't have them in game, yet), so I could buy them and get the gems back later.
