This has to be the least accurate description ever. It's a day of relaxation. You get to spend time with family and friends, talk with people, and have amazing food.

Saying that it's for obese people is just rude. You're basically calling every single American here fat.

Whiny ungrateful kids? No.. just.. no. Not all children deserve gifts, but those that do are truly grateful, even if they don't say anything.

Beat each other to death? No.. I've been to 3 Black Friday events so far, and no one was beating up each other. Sure, the lines can be huge, but whatever.

Do you not think of all the poor families here that have very little money? They see these sales and go there, in hopes of getting something for their kids.

Well, considering I'm only 12, and I'm 5 pounds heavier, I don't think you're obese smilie
(I'm not fat, since I'm pretty tall and have a considerably large muscle mass, I'm average-weight.)

You should come to NC. Last year some lady got knocked out cold while trying to get the last x-box at Walmart. She ended up laying there while other people were fighting for the x-box

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? If you do, does that automatically mean you are obese? As an example, I celebrate it, and I'm actually considered underweight for my age, so your logic just kinda flew out the window right then and there. If you don't celebrate it, to those that do celebrate Thanksgiving, your statement can be quite insulting. Not everyone in America is obese, and some of the people that are, it's not their fault. Some people have struggled with weight issues from the day they were born. You really shouldn't judge people when you don't know them or their past. You don't know the **** they've gone through that could've made them obese. Having children, physical disabilities, etc. are some causes for obesity. Not everyone who is overweight just stuff themselves with food all the time. I mean sure, some do, but not all. So yeah, that can be rather insulting.
As for the Black Friday thing, not everyone gets into fights (although you do hear about them on the news kinda often... you do around here at least), but I do think it's stupid. One day you're giving thanks for the things you already have, and the next you're in mass chaos to get a good deal on a freakin tv or something. I mean, some people who are less fortunate use that to get gifts for family and friends and that's okay I guess, but I'm pretty sure not everyone going out on Black Friday is borderline broke... It probably wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't right after Thanksgiving... But anyway yeah, I don't like it.
Also, not all children are whiny and ungrateful. Just saying.
