Around the holidays is the rumored date.

Dune Bug, Smolderdash, Horn Blast Whirlwind, Phantom Cynder, and Hyper Beam Prism Break are the singles.

Sheep Wreck Island and Arkeyan Crossbow are the Adventure and Battle Packs.

Spy Rise, Stink Bomb, and Rubble Rouser are the Swappers.

Hopefully sometime before 2014

This site is listing December 13 for Europe for Wave 3 and December 10 for Jolly Bumble Blast. In US we now know JBB is December 7. I wonder if US Wave 3 is also 3 days prior to Europe - Tuesday, December 10? Aren't most video game releases on Tuesdays?

Every single major Skylander release has been on a Sunday in the US, including launch day, Wave 2 release day and the release days for Legendary Night Shift and Legendary Zoo Lou.

I doubt it is out, even in Asia. He paid $70 for it, which to me means the store owner knows he has something that isn't out on sale. Either he got it early, got it from someone that got it from "dropping off the back of the truck" or some other kind of shipping mistake. The figures are made in China, and corruption is rampant there. There is typically a LOT of security around those facilities to keep the production workers walking off with items, but it doesn't stop managers/administration/security people as easily from supplementing their income this way.

We will get it soon enough, and I would imagine the shelves will be overflowing with them. After all, both figures are already available in other forms and Battle Packs do not get the interest of other releases from non-collectors. Judging from last year and this year they will ship a ton of them.

Honestly, I'm optimistic that this is the first sign of it working its way into circulation. I suspect it may be weeks before we see it in the U.S., but this does give me slightly greater hope that we may yet see them before Christmas.

Dumb question - what's the regular pricing for a Battle Pack in Singapore in the first place? $70 may not be all that much of a markup, all things considered.

I take this as we may see a few of wave 3 out just before the 25th of dec and more then likely see it after the 25th..
It would make a good ad to get ppl with gift cards/returns into the store to buy new skylanders that kids see/want.

So, sounds pretty much exactly like last year. A little taste before the holiday, to whet the appetite for the fans that have been waiting for some new stuff, then hit big in January with the headliners (the swappers) once all the kids have the game and are ready to get some new figures. Sounds like a good plan.

Do you know anything about Sheep Wreck Island?

No. All i know is that if Wave 3 shows up before Xmas, it will be the non-swap force characters in wave 3, and that's still unconfirmed.
However, you will find Stink Bomb, spy Rise and Rubble rouser after Xmas, but before New Years eve. That is a key week for retailers to
get sales with gift card redemption, and they want to capitalize on that with new skylanders in stock.

Australia don't get wave 2 until now(and it only just started trickling in), and we still don't get the triples.
I hope you guys get wave 3 soon... So I can order it instead of all this stupid waiting. The UK got wave 2 weeks before us as well. I bet we aren't seeing that Stink Bomb until early Feb and that this year they won't give us a "compensation first release" either like they did with Wham-Shell and LC Chill/Pop Fizz/Hex & S2 Drobot. I wouldn't mind so much but seriously, if we're missing out on triple packs this time, I'm done. You guys are probably gonna get Wave 3 only a week or two after we finally see wave 2, it's ridiculous.

If the US is going to be pushed that far back might want to look into the amazon websites as they'll have them next week. Seems reasonable that they should appear sometime next month in the brick and mortar places around the US.

Not really.
Lots of people receive gift cards for the Holidays, and having something new and eye-catching for sale during the week between Christmas and New Years Day is a very smart move for retail stores, especially when one considers all the children that will receive Skylanders Starter Packs for the first time on Christmas Day.

I disagree. It's fine that they're releasing abit before Christmas, similar to last years wave 3 on how they released the Lightcores and S2's right before Christmas, leaving people getting hyped for the new ones, and then they're most certain to buy the new Cores.

Wave 2 was first released on a Wednesday at TRU. October 16th.

According to amazon.fr they were coming out December 3rd. That was 3 days ago. Today it says Jan 31st, both dates are a Tuesday, every release has been a Sunday so far.
I doubt they are coming out on the 1st of December or we would have seen it in Black Friday sales. Prob just the JBB before Christmas. Not everyone buying these is a collector. There is more than enough out there now for Christmas.

To continue to boost their quarterly numbers in the holiday season. When customers redeem their gift cards they tend to spend more than the card amount.

Because the giftcards get you into the store, then you may buy a few things and only part of that is covered by gift card,.

I'm not sure retailers (or Activision) have put THAT much thought into their release schedule.

I know it's not wave 3 , maybe 2.5 but I found this finally. I dont recall anyone else posting about it, so it's here and in the bought thread.

No idea, but that's the only online place where I actually see the product listed.

I read in another thread he found it at Target. Happy Thanksgiving.

These triples are also listed on Target.com and Gamestop.com but "not available" or "out of stock."

I found mine at target only lone one, they had alot of wave 2 singles and like no wave 1 singles. Funniest comment of the day was while there a kid was with his parents looking at disney infinity guys and the mom was trying to get him away from the triples of that by showing him singles and showing him skylander guys. His response "I beat that already", which the mom replies i spent nearly $80 on swap force and you beat it already....or something in that regards.

I wish they would at least release all the characters needed to 100% the game. My interest in 100%-ing is is pretty strong right now, and as the game sits, it becomes weaker. I need sneak bottoms and some earth swappers.

Well if slayer found the triples, that must mean they are getting around in the stores and we just have to wait for them to get to us. I'm looking like mad and keep checking for availability but those sites are starting to drive me nuts with that "sold in stores" "not available" crap!

I hope wave 3 is out real soon, the only characters my daughter wants for Christmas are all form this wave.

Based on everything we've heard and seen so far that is better than mere hopefulness/speculation, then "Wave 3" characters will possibly be on some retail store shelves in the last few days leading up to Christmas. Don't hold your breath.

There's good indications that the "wave 3" characters will be available during the final week of the year, though, between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. They may not be widely available until sometime in January, which would be consistent with last year's Giants "wave 3" items.
