Just got back from TRU no sales on SSA yet but shelves where full of almost every character from SSA. I picked up at full price a wham shell, voodoo, legendary chill, and Bash. The manager said they will all be on sale black Friday but I have to work so I just bought a bunch now.

Where was this? I went to my local TRU this morning and they barely had any - Clearwater, FL.

I managed to grab an Empire of Ice for $9.99 before a lurking scalper threw the rest in a cart. I'm still not sure how he expected to buy them when the deal was limited quantities (2 per person).

I noticed something like this too a few days ago I found some legendary triple packs with Ignitor jet vac and slam bam, I hope we get L-Bouncer here soon ?

I'm almost positive this TRU I was at set up and shelved them earlier then they should have. They are prob supposed to hold them in the back until Black Friday, but its official all SSA 1 Characters have resurfaced on TRU Shelves. I will post Pictures soon. Waiting for kids to go to bed as most are for xmas.

They had almost 10 L Bouncers. They also had around 10 of wham shell and bash....most the others where in multiple quantity as well.

Yea witch pretty much made me believe this TRU stocked them way to early I'm almost positive all other TRU will stock the shelves with all SSA the night before Black Friday. They had a couple boomers too and plenty of the legendary 3 packs but this TRU always had that 3 pack for a while now. Even though SSA 1 characters are not on sale I did see a few ppl buying. All the Swap Force are buy one get one 40% off

Nobody has mentioned any DLC in stock during this sale...not yet at least.

Assuming it's a no, but anyone see any NEW guys at TRU?

I went to my TRU, last night, and it didn't seem like they got any new SSA figures. There was a section up front that had some that normally isn't there, but it was mostly Giants and Dino Rangs. All the areas that had SSA seemed to have the same stuff that's been there for a while. If I had found that all the Boomers were gone but there seemed to be a greater number of SSA figures, I would understand, but there wasn't. Plus I figured I would see a Voodood or something, as I usually see him stick around for a bit. I'm wondering if they got caught up in putting out all the extra SF (as there were several areas of them that weren't normally there) and didn't put out their SSA stuff. They didn't have any adventure packs and only the few triple packs that they've normally had out on Wednesday.

On another note, I had one of the $10 GC with a $50 purchase from the Wendy's kids meals. They exclude video games and video game hardware, but usually the figures count as toys. I thought I had enough between a couple of Skylanders, a case and another toy I got to get the $50, but they said I was short, but assumed the Skylanders didn't count. I got home and figured out that I was less than 50 cents short counting those. I had gotten a bunch of other stuff, like diapers, that I knew didn't count, so it was hard to keep up with, and my phone died, so I didn't have a calculator to figure it out, exactly (especially with the 70% off the 2nd Skylander). I'm tempted to go back in and see if there's a way to return/rebuy at the price I got it at and add a little something to see if it works.

The only noticeable one was Whirlwind. I haven't seen her at ToysRUs in a while.

We waited in line to get into the other TRU for 40 minutes on Thanksgiving (Wesley Chapel). They had stocked L-Bouncer and L-LC Chill. They still had a few legendary triple pack (Jet-Vac/Slam Bam/?). I also saw a few Sunburn packs in there. Looked everywhere but did not see Boomer or Zook.

Just for fun we dug out 3 Hot Dogs for the BOGO to match the LC Shroomboom we didn't have. They also had some Wrecking Ball singles and tons and tons of Whirlwinds.

Series 1? There's a small chance that the Crystal version of her was released.

I went back to TRU, today, thinking they may have gotten them in but didn't put them out. I figured it wouldn't be as busy, so I could ask an employee. They said they didn't have any more (which I somehow doubt, since it seems like they didn't get any in for this sale). I looked at the top shelf in the Skylanders aisle and found cases of Legendary triples, Bouncers, and Stealth Elfs.

Rarity is relative. With millions produced, this isn't rare. Buying it new off the shelf, sure. They aren't going to make these forever. But getting one shouldn't be a "rarity" problem if you include the secondary market.

I have all the non legendary SSA figs allready so I have no use in SSA figs, also as a Canadian I hardly ever get good deals

I searched around the TRUs here today. All I wanted was a Wham Shell since he's the only character I don't have. Sadly, there were none to be found

TRU dropped the price for SSA single packs to $4.95 today, still BOGO. Still not a great selection online, and 4's the limit. At $2.50 a piece though, hard to go wrong. Quite a few accessories are also 50% off, and others are just marked down. A lot of the the SF figures are down a dollar or two.

Pre Black Friday: Let's pump out a ton of these old ones and we'll rake in the Black Friday cash. Mo Money.
On Black Friday: Hey ... they aren't selling that well .... Ummm, Ummm, quick remove all discounts from Swap Force, then they'll buy them!!!
On Saturday: Oh man, we totally failed at that. Maybe people didn't want to see the same old figures they've seen for years. Well, keep them BOGO and cut the cost in 1/2 and maybe we won't get fired.

This sounds like it's not far off from the truth.

I'm holding out for the SF LC Wham-Shell. He looks pretty. PS: Sams Club was still overstocked with Scarlets. The SF was cleaned out. Apparently people didn't know what they were buying.

Actually the people did know what they were buying, if they didn't know why would they buy it in a first place and Scarlet isn't that rare anymore as almost everyone have her already.

I went back to TRU today, they had a ton more legendary triples with Ignitor, slam bam, and jet vac. They also had L-Stealth Elf and L-Light core Chill

yet no legendary bouncer though >.< ironically he was the one I was looking forward to the most

I see at least one SSA whirlwind every store I go to. It's almost like she has a tear in her eye because nobody wants her.
