woot! can we transfer out saves via activate? I assume yes, does it keep our friends? can I visit ios islands etc? then transfer between my 2 android devies oooh, amazing! finally transfer to my S3, nice big screen now then my nexus 7!

Activate and Facebook friends, along with cloud save, should work cross-platform. Game Center (iOS) and Google+ (Android) friends will only be on the respective platforms. Android players can visit iOS and vice versa.

There is an intermittent issue with Google+ account linking so you may run into a problem there. We are working on fixing.

What about kindle? I couldn't see it in the store? Is that coming? Or do I need to have even more regrets about getting a fire?

Now if only the Android games would accept the portal. We just added 102 Skylanders via code... Fixing the massive bug in Cloud Patrol would be good too.

Cloud Patrol 32 toy code limit will be fixed this month if that's what you are referring to.

Yes, that's the one. My wife is stuck with four toys she can't add. Only four, but they are the magic items so its really annoying her.

this was super glitchy for me. took 4 closings and reopenings just to be able to put my age in.... might be sucking to ios for now...

This is great news for Android users. I just see potentially more problems, though, since there are so many different Android phones. So expect to see more people reporting bugs and glitches that no one else. I hope not, but it's highly likely. I'm glad they released it for those who are on Android, just saying we can probably expect more confusion when it comes to bugs.

As for the portal, would the portal for iOS work since it is just a Bluetooth portal. It is made to work with iOS, but it should also work with any other Bluetooth device, I would assume. I'm thinking this came up when wanting to use it for the PC through Bluetooth, as well. But even then, is the Android version coded to use the portal, even if it would work? Has anyone tried? Although I'm sure if you have the portal, you have probably already entered all your figures through iOS. But maybe someone who has both devices and just create a new game on their Android device and see what happens.

Is there a device list somewhere? We tried to install it on my daughter's phone last night, and it said she had no compatible devices
I installed it on our Nook Color with no problem, tho. o.O

No joy loading my save alas. Otherwise, worked fine on my Australian galaxy s3. Plenty smooth and crisp.

Great, now you have time to finally make the iOS version work with the current iPad models.

Mommasith- what is your daughter's phone? The game requires Android 4.0 so if it's running the old Android 2.3 it will not work.

I have the same question as Hoelegang. I want to use my cloud data for my Android phone. Do I select new game or transfer? It says transfer from this device to activate account but I want the opposite, transfer from activate to this device. Please assist.

Never mind. I selected new game, received and error popup with "check" and "support" options. When I selected check, it loaded my cloud data.

The portal pairs just fine. The problem is the Android apps don't try to connect to it. The option to even import figures via the portal simply isn't there. In Cloud Patrol for example the icon to use the portal simply isn't there.

Rb6freak, I got there in a different way:since I didn't know what to choose, I exited the game. When I next started the game, my progress had transferred from the iPad!

Transfer worked for me, it grabbed my saved game from Activate and put it on my device.

Quick clarification on using an iOS cloud save for the first time on Android.

If you are prompted with "Transfer" or "New Game", do not select Transfer. This will overwrite your current cloud save data! There are two options:
(1) Exit the game, wait a few seconds, come back, this should properly load the cloud save.
(2) Select "New Game". You will get an error. Then select "Check" which should properly load the cloud save.

So what happens if you do select transfer? Can you still get your other game from your iPad over? Already hit transfer and game is stuck on my Nexus 4 as new. Have tried deleting app and reinstalling but no good.

Update to previous post... Don't know why, but got kicked out of activision on both devices and when I logged back in, it gave me the option of choosing between both devices. Woohoo Lost Islands is now on my Nexus. The addiction continues...

YES! FINALLY! ... *ahem* Sorry about that. Anyway, I am really glad they released Lost Islands on Android. I would have installed right when I heard if not for the fact my HP Tablet won't charge. But I will be able to soon. I have figured out a possible solution, so I should be joining discussions soon!

Edit: Took awhile, but me and my dad FINALLY got the tablet in working order. Sure, we have Android 4.1, but it's better than nothing. Anyway, I can't play Lost Islands right now, but I can get started tomorrow after school. See ya later, alligator! I am having such a great day!!

I entered an age on his ipod, created a new account with his email, and when it prompted me to transfer or start a new game I exited the game. Now, when I go back into the ipod, it has started over from the beginning! He had around 80 skylanders and I cannot use many of those codes again. Now what? Advisor Orville, can you help?

Are you sure you're logged into Activate on the iPod?

Also, you can reuse the codes. Not sure of the limit, but it's not one anymore. Although that doesn't help you as you wouldn't want to start over.

The ipod says "Online as *username*" And you're right, starting over would take a long time as nearly all the codes were publicly shared.

Alright, before I share my Activate name, is there any way to change it? It gave me something related to my email, so, you get the point. Any way to change?

Yes, you can change your name. Go to your profile settings, the option should be clearly marked.

Jade- it sounds like when you created the Activate account on the ipod, you didn't select to transfer the game progress to the Activate account (because you exited out of the app). If you log out of Activate on the ipod, it sounds like you should have all your progress back. If you then want to transfer the game progress to the Activate account, there should be an option from the Options menu. This will then ask you to log into Activate -- it will then prompt you to transfer your game progress *and overwrite whatever is stored in the cloud*. This is a destructive action so should only be done if you know there is nothing good saved on the Activate cloud save.

After Advisor Orville's reply, I went back and re-read your post and I think I misunderstood you. Did you create a new Activate account for your son on the iPod so that he could play with that account on the Nexus? Did you have an Activate account before and just creating a new one or were you creating your first Activate account to transfer the game?

If you were creating your first account, then you needed to transfer the game to the cloud. I'm not sure if you can, now, since it's calling up the clean save from the cloud. It's possible it's still saved on your iPod, I guess. But that would definitely have to be answered by a dev. If you were just creating a new one for your son, then you're logged into his and just need to log out and back into yours.

Thanks for that, I'll probably ask to use my Mother's Debit Card just to get that and Cloud Patrol for when I get money again, also, I figured out my own solution to my "Evilized Sugarbats" issue, I forgot to look in the outskirts of the islands Otherwise, I'm REALLY Glad it's out on Android and I have a Phone that Supports it
