Put it up for auction on Ebay, whatever it sells for is what it is worth.

$1000? I find that hard to believe--It'd be interesting to see what it would bring.
Is it a collectable that you got to save or to sell?

I don't see this being worth much over retail. If indeed it is even worth more than retail...

a COA you get usually at the time of purchase of an item or at the moment something is signed. to get one after you would have to have the signature(s) authenticated by either the ones who signed it or by someone that can verify the signatures, can be expensive after the fact usually at signings there is someone that gives one with each item signed. i have been to many signings and there is always been someone there to assist for the COA.

Are signitures from the creators worth anything for a kids game like this?
I have a poster they sent me, signed by everyone and I hadnt thought it would be worth anything. How many kids care about autographs? Especially from a fairly anonymous bunch. I really did appreciate the thoughtfulness, but if it is worth anything Id love for it to go to someone who really likes and I wouldnt mind it paying for some of the collection |

what you need to do is see if you can get a LOA (Letter of Authenticity) from who sent it to you. then it could be some what valuable. |

Meh.. I have the poster roll cylinder that it was shipped in addressed from T4B, beyond that, not gonna bother. They were nice enough to send it, even if Im not hanging it, Id feel like a jerk asking for authentication to make their coutresy worth more on the open market. I still doubt the value of autographs of unseen devs. Heck autographs of living celebs arnt worth that much. i ve got quite a few signed comics and album LPs with COAs and they add little to no value. |

I would judge by the lack of any reaction to it here, that its worthless.
No one here saying theyd like it and no PMs despite me stating that Id sell it. (I know we're not supposed to have transactions here but its not like it never happens) |

I think it's sad that tfb gives something special to you and you want to sell it. Now--if there is some serious financial situation I understand but...doesn't seem.that way.

Doubtful, unless the signatures can be certified. I guess people will blindly bid on some scribble that COULD BE signatures that are purported to be on the figure...but that's the rub. In comics world we have certification that have witnesses from the certification company verifying who signed it, and then grade the product. Nothing to do this in toy land (there are grading companies but not signature/grading combined). If there were, then yes there might be a shot at it being "worth" money. If I were the owner, I'd just enjoy it.

They sent it to my son, but my son could care less about a poster or autographs. It wont ever see the light of day in our house. I appreciate their courtesy, they also sent him a shirt that he loves. I thought someone else might like it, and It could buy my son a figure or two. Which is better? For it never to be hung or seen? Or for it to go to someone who will hang it? |

Autographs? Autographs are from Famous people. Game designers are regular people like rest of us, so you have a nice signed collectible but I highly doubt it holds much value. This is a kids game and no kid really cares about some random stranger writing his name on something for him. I'm sure someone would buy it but it would not hold long term value. If someone offers to buy it, take the money and run. As they say, one mans trash is anothers treasure.

^This. Plus, signatures can't be confirmed so anyone bidding high money on sigs that can't be confirmed means buyer is taking a risk.

I totally agree with you there about asking for authentication. With regards to the value, I don't think kids will care one way or the other but avid collectors might. And it should fetch more than a regular poster with the address on the cilinder giving it some authenticity. But I doubt it will go over double the price of a regular poster. That would be my limit at least if I wanted it. But if you get really lucky and have two people bidding against each other who knows what it will sell for. |

Thanks for the idea, I'll have to put the picture of me having Keiji Inafune sign my Megaman 2 at Pax in the frame with it, and the picture of my wife getting my Megaman 3 Signed in there too as that will provide more authenticity to the signatures.

I agree that personally it would be a nice gift to keep, but sounds like they'd rather dispose of it. Nothing wrong either way and it's theirs to do with how they want.

We have the same signed poster we received from our visit to TFB in July that we proudly hung up in my son's bedroom. Next to it is our E3 Hotdog signed by a few TFB employees including his creator I-Wei and a signed portal gifted to us by its' creator Robert Leyland. If I knew before hand Alex Ness was the voice of Lightning Rod and Voodood, then I would've brought them for him to sign. We also met Dan Neil, the voice of Thumpback when Chris took around the studio.
Selling them has never crossed our minds.

Ours just wont get hung is all.
I'm not actively trying to sell it, otherwise it would be on ebay. It hadnt really crossed my mind until this thread came up. I tried to explain to my son how cool it was that the people who made and voiced his favorite game took the time to do this, but he just doesnt care about posters signed or not. |
