Though Brian wasn't really one of my favorite characters, it was pretty sad to see him go.
But I think he's gonna somehow return, since the Season 12 episode guide has two more episodes later down the line with Brian's name in it. Only time will tell I suppose.

He was an extremely popular character that alot of people liked.

It's funny, because Brian is the voice McFarlane does that's closest to his natural speaking voice. So he lost the easiest voice to do. XP

If you look online and read about the future episodes you will see that he is talked about in many of them, so they are going to clearly bring him back at some point. Most probably in the next episode.

Yeah. They literally brought James Woods back from the dead, so I imagine they'll do the same thing with Brian. <.<

Ugh, my favourite character too. I haven't really watched Family Guy since Season 8. But CAV told me I'd do well to watch this episode so I did (though Facebook kind of spoiled it). :c

I really thought that other than the death scene itself and one or two other things, this episode was INCREDIBLY underwhelming though, and just felt incredibly rushed. So many things to pick apart.

Though I feel he won't come back. Those Wikipedia listings can't seem to be found elsewhere.

But regardless, I think killing off Brian was a bad move, and bringing him back would be even worse (from a writing standpoint).

I know Brian was a bit of a liberal douche, and a drunk, but overall, I thought he was a good guy.
And even his negative sides gave him appeal, IMO. I may not agree with him on everything, but it just means he was a flawed individual, and there were a lot of points in the show where he realised this. It made him more relate-able.

And Brian was part of what made Stewie such a great charcater, IMO. The two had great comedic chemistry, and are responsible for the shows most touching moments. Brian is arguably the biggest part of the show, and it just baffles me as to why they would kill him off.
