I found a topic about familiar collecting, it was under the list of familiars you can find while hunting/scavenging/ect. It's one of the rarer ones, so it's worth a little over 100k, but it isn't nearly as rare as a Hippojay.

I'll go clarify the value of the familiar with the people on the thread, I might be wrong.
