I don't know if these glitches are, as some have theorized, done intentionally to generate player interest, but I just bought a gem pack to extend thanks/condolences to Activision for the bountious bounty of late. I know I am sentimental fool, and I complain as much as the next player, but I like this game and so I threw Activsion a bone.

PS Looking for Hyde has lost its appeal now that he has more than paid for himself.

Same here! It was only a $.99 for 300 gem pack deal but heck, I've already spent a fair amount of real cash on this game and I want to encourage further 300/$.99 offers!

That's the only offer I buy now, and I've bought it 6 times in the past two weeks.

Really? I'm not sure a "free" gem walking around my island will ever not be exciting for me.

But then, I'm also happy to find Maboo each day, even though my wish stones are doing nothing but piling up. I just find them fun.

Got the offer again--bought it again. I don't need it per se but if I'm going to play this game as much as I do, I feel it's only fair to pay for it a little bit. Kudos to the devs (heh--that's actually funny given how limited the value of kudos are in-game) for actively and continuously adding new content.

I love that offer but I rarely get it. I keep getting the discounted gem pack 2 offer. 275 gems for $2.99.

What is very interesting is that gem offers are device specific. I get offers all the time on my iphone and sometimes ones that are good for several days. However, even if I save the game and transfer to the ipad, the offer doesn't transfer. When I transfer the game back to the iphone, the offer is there.

I suspect they think ipad users are "richer" and so only the best deals go to iphones.

Hah. Well, I play strictly on my iPad. I think the deals you get (possibly device specific and certainly Activate account specific) may hinge partially on what deals you've accepted in the past. I bought 300 gems for $1.99 a ways back and that was the best offer I got for months afterward. Now that they made the 300/$.99 offer and I accepted it, I've got the offer 2x in three days.

I agree that once you have accepted a "hidden" offer, that offer is presented to you most frequently after. And it's reasonable. If you went for it once before, there's a good chance you'll go for it again.
