What do you get as a payout from Birthday Bash's House? [CLOSED]

I was wondering if buying birthday bash's house does have OK payouts. As it has a time quest now, with a shrine. Is it worth considering?
I don't have any houses so far (except 3 legendary ones).

I understand that shrines go one sale again this weekend, so if I am not getting the house now, I will get some shrines this weekend. Only have 2 so far, so a couple of more won't hurt :-)

I've always been a huge fan of the houses. I invested in them very early on and they eventually paid for themselves plus a whole lot more. However, Hall of Legends weren't available back then so there's something to be said about investing in Shrines to generate Wishin' Stones and get multiple of those which would then generate Gems for houses. The safest bet would be to get Birthday Bash's House now as you don't know when it'll be back plus it comes with a bonus shrine if you act fast.

Does it give reasonable payouts? What is your experience with it in general? Better than the legendary houses?

The Skylander houses pay out the same as Halls of Legend.

I'm almost at 350, so I'm debating on this one. I thought about saving up to get Avril and the water shrine since I don't have one. But this may be the better deal. The house would give me better rewards than Avril. But now I'm debating on blowing all my gems. I still keep wondering if there will be some special items come Thanksgiving weekend. I know I'll have to decide, soon, so I can use the house enough to get the shrine.

A house pays out better than Avril since currently there isn't much to spend Kudos on and IMHO an Earth Shrine is more useful than a Water one.

I definitely agree. Just now debating on blowing all my gems or holding out to see if there's something better Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not sure what that would be that would trump it, though. They've already had 50% off companions, which I passed on. They're already having a sale on a lot of the typical stuff like shrines, radiant fields, etc. Probably the only thing that would trump it would be a sale on houses. It would probably have to be 50% off, though, to make up for not getting the shrine.

Why is an earth shrine more useful than a water one? You get the same payout... is there a difference then?

Earth shrines will give you a bonus on earth crops, which are practical to plant. Water crops, at just 1 min, are not practical to plant.

I guess it's all moot, for me, anyway. I decided to see if they had happened to program anything in for Thanksgiving weekend, yet, forgetting that it puts you past the end time for the timed quests. It deleted them all out (including the one for Nitro Magna Charge which I had already started working on smilie )

Yep that's the risk you run, you have to be very careful timetraveling.

It it it simply deals with unpredictability in complex systems. The shorthand is the...the Butterfly Effect. A butterfly can flap its wings in Peking and in Central Park you get rain instead of sunshine.

I've tried figuring out ways to get them to come back, but I guess I'm out of luck. I'd contact support about it, but what would I tell them? My phone "accidentally" changed dates? Doubt that will fly smilie The only thing I haven't tried is deleting the app and re-installing, but only because I can't do that at work. I'd have to wait until I got home.

Personally, I need to stop sneak peeking via time travelling because I feel dirty after smilie lol...

But do know that you can't peek beyond the next Tuesday.

And it is very risky. I do something special to protect myself which I won't share simply to not encourage the process but I would NEVER shift on my main game or rely on my cloud save as a backup while shifting.

I still dont get the people that time shift to rush the game. Um, why? Then you get hilarious questions like I've level 40, but how do shrines work? I'm still curious how many of the recent messed up game saves are game fails or time shift fails...

Do that many people really time travel?

I did it once. A giant's house was back for 1 day only and I was madly leveling people up all day long to get the required number of gems. At 11:30pm, I realized I wasn't quite going to make it, so shifted 1/2 an hour back, to be able to collect from a few more adventures, get that last gem, and buy the house.

That was months before my corrupt save problem, so no way related. I also found it very stressful. I can't imagine doing it again.

Glad I read this whole thread before rushing off and trying time travel for the first time! I think I'll just be thankful with what I have...
