I remember having a phobia of Aliens and Dinosaurs or both Alien dinosaurs. In one nightmare I was in my backyard and I got shot by one alien and I got cameras around the house to I saw how my family was hiding and dying. Then Alien dinosaurs tried slaughtering me (and for some reason Terminator was there), but they melted because their weakness what heat or touching desert areas.

Still a little spooked of those nightmares. Along those occasional spider infestation ones

Furbies are devil spawn. I had one about 7 years ago until i realized it was slowly corrupting my family so i disintegrated it. smilie


Not. I have one sitting in the bottom of my closet, though.


What I really fear are gangs. I used to live in that part of chicago where there were shootings and things like that until we got enough money to move.

Lifts.
When I was younger, I got trapped in one. It kept jolting and I was scared as ****. Happened about 8 years ago but I still am petrified of that cord snapping....

Escalators
Over this one now. But I used to be scared of escalators smilie love them now smilie

Facing the other side of my bed.
Ok. So, I've always had my bed against a wall. I can't sleep facing away from the wall otherwise an evil monster will come and eat me D:

Sticking my feet out of my bed.
Because, y'know, what if giant rats come and eat them? smilie

I hated not being able to see. Though, with many times where I was forced to sleep in complete darkness, (family vacations in hotels, ect.) I got over it. But now, with my failing vision, I actually find it easier to see in the dark now than in the light. Probably because I'm light sensitive. The light is harsh on my eyes, while the darkness isn't. It's just, I had a twisted imagination. I always imagined what could be hiding in the dark. Murderers, monsters, ect. Whenever I felt my pajamas rub against the back of my leg while I was sleeping on my stomach, it would scare the crap out of me. Any weird feeling or wind would freak me out. I would always face the outside of my bed (my bed was in a corner then.) and watch for anything to be moving in the dark. I always felt terrified when I had my legs or arm hanging off the side of the bed. I still haven't quite gotten over that one.



I had the same problem as a small kid, I always though there was a creature in the dark, so images came up in my mind, and so I hid myself under my blanket, once it got bad enough that I needed to be with my mom, I don't know how long that went, but I am way over that phase, though I don't fear the dark anymore...I still like sleeping with a soft light, like a lamp, better than sleeping in the dark, for some reason, it has more calming effect on me...Maybe it has to do with my age old fear, but I don't mind sleeping in the dark either.

I can't see why everyone is afraid of the dark... I love Darkness
in fact, I don't like light at all....

still I'm afraid of bee's and wasps, but that is since I got stinged

It was only while I was little, have gotten well over it.

Ah yeah, I'm still afraid of those too, ever since I was child, I'm actually afraid of most insects beside rolly polies and and lady bugs.

I'm still afraid of those because I'm afraid I'll fall, trip and fall.

Not a big fan of heights, ever since a little kid, but...Heights seem normal in the phobia list, so...Didn't know if to add it or not.

But I did have a fear of deep water even though I swam regularly back then.

Drowning. Not being able to touch the bottom of the pool and rise to the surface again.

I have no trace of the fear now.

I've heard a furby swear...Thing was I didn't know it was furby and I was in a darkish room, so I was freaked out.

Oh, I once heard that someone pulled out a DS in front of a furby and it started to swear at it.

I can't think of anything except for the classic arachnophobia... Don't watch that movie if you are scared of spiders, by the way. It will only increase your fear... *shudders*

I used to be scared of deep waters, too.

Not because of drowning, but because of what might be livivng in them.

Living right next to a great lake kind of made me overcome my fear, but I'm still scared of sea lampreys.

Its weird. I think that the scary stuff is cool but I'm afraid of stupid stuff.
Like basements. Creepy. Who knows what's down there.... smilie
And the dark. Because...
And goats. I met a perverted goat who tried to rip my shirt off. Too true to make up.
And break-ins. Pretty self explanatory.
And lockdowns.Yeah.
And anything deadly.Because... yah.

One of mine is that I could not, and still won't, go on the money bars. I mean, now I don't have recess, but I still won't do it. I get scared of falling.

And yet I've been on planes many times no problem.
