Day 18
Background Music

Ecruteak City

DummyZ and slambam sit on a bench in the middle of Ecruteak City tallking about the game and the friends they've made while here who aren't here anymore. As they talk, they can't help but feel that Ecruteak feels empty with only them there, kind of lonely.

A Sableye walks over to the two and hands them a letter before scurrying off. DummyZ opens it and reads it.

"It seems we need to go to the Burned Tower. It's time for the last challenge." DummyZ says.

"Good luck." Slambam says.

"You too." DummyZ smiles.

The two walk over to the Burned Tower and walk inside. Once they are in, the doors slam shut. The flames candles perched above them lining the room burst to life. Upon closer examination the candles can be seen to actually be a good number of Litwicks watching the two contestants.

The room they are in is still rather black, made up of charred wood. Some dead trees stick up from the loose and broken floorboards. The only light in the room comes from the soft glow of the Litwicks purple flames.

Seiki steps forward from the shadows of the charred room to greet the two.

"Hello and welcome to the final day of the fifth season of Survivor. You two have come very far, however only one of you can be the winner, so here we are for one final challenge. Good luck, you'll need it." Seiki smirks.

Night of Frights
Each contestant will be pm'd the same set of questions. They then have however long they like to think them over and submit a response for them. However, only the first pm sent by each one will be accepted, therefore it is advised to send all answers at once. Once both players have submitted their answers, the challenge will end. In the event of a tie, the one to send in their answers first wins.

Slambam smiles, shaking a little in relief and excitement. "... I did it..."

One of the withered trees comes to life, revealign itself to be a Trevenant. It reaches out and grabs DummyZ, holding him close. The Trevenant backs away into the shadows with DummyZ screaming. As the Trevenant dissappears into the darkness fo the room, DummyZ's screams fade. Slambam runs after him only to find a solid wall where DummyZ should be.

"What did you do?! Where is he?!" Slambam shouts, scraed and worried for his friend.

"That is none of your concern. You have won, you are free to go." Seiki says.

Seiki snaps his fingers causing the door to open. The Litwicks' flames go out with light from outside pouring in through the doorway. Slambam looks at the outside then back at Seiki, nervously.

He walks out of the tower then gathers his things before heading to the main gate into Ecruteak City. He looks back one last time. "I don't know what happened to you DummyZ, to any of my fellow competitors, but I'll find out, then I'll be back to save you." He turns and leaves the city behind.

Ecruteak City Gym

Seiki walks into a back room of the gym, hidden behind the stands. Inside, Paris is finishing up sewing a plush doll that oddly resembles DummyZ. Bits of cloth are everywhere. Seiki picks one of the pieces up.

"A Repaer's Cloth is an oddly powerful item. Able to evolve a Dusclops into Dusknoir and eerily simialr in nature to the material Shuppets and Banettes are made from." Seiki says tossing the cloth aside.

Paris finishes the doll then tosses it into a box with several other different dolls.

"You did a good job on them." Seiki says, giving her a hug. "Unfortunatly, your usefulness has come to an end." He brings out his Keyblade and stabs her in her chest with it. Paris' body fades away with her heart released.

Seiki picks up the box of dolls and leaves the room.

Welcome to Survivor darkSpyro: The Return of the Revenge!

Please read the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Hiya, folks. We're going to do things a lot different this time. I want you to, for the most part, toss everything you knew about the game out the nearest window. My apologies to the broken windows in advance. Don't worry, this is still a trivia game. But the format is being changed. Here's what I'm talking about...

There are no teams. None. Nada. If you thought you could ride the coattails of someone else through part of the game, you're way off the mark on that one. Similarly, players that have previous done well may find themselves early targets. Now, you are welcome to form alliances with each other. But history tells us these have a funny way of always ending badly, so you're picking your poison with that one.

Along these lines, you are all responsible for your own answers unless I specify otherwise. Before you go complaining, understand that that means I'm gonna be receiving a TON of PMs in the early parts of the game and results will take awhile. But I think it's worth it! To that end, I recommend you pay close attention to every challenge's rules explanation. PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, ask questions if you have them. Since this is a new format, there's going to be some growing pains this time around. I'm happy to clarify anything, short of giving you an answer to a question. Additionally, you may receive PMs regarding the game from me from time to time. They will generally have "Survivor" somewhere in the subject line, so be on the look out for those.

Now, for the biggest change. You will all receive roles for this season! These roles are unique personas that you will take on the entire time you are in the game. They have been assigned using the Random Number Generator, based on the number slot you got when you signed up.

All but one of these roles will have special abilities that come with them. The abilities are in lieu of the reward items seen in previous seasons, so don't go asking about those. You will each receive a Role PM over the next few days detailing the abilities that you have. Feel free to PM me any questions you might have because I'm willing to explain anything (okay, I can't tell you what the capital of Bosnia is, but I can explain your role in more detail if necessary).

Additionally, some roles may come with alternative win conditions. These will differ from the usual "make it to the end of the game." If you fill an alternative win condition, you will be a "sub-champion." The player that makes it to the end of the game will win the Sole Survivor title, as always. But, if a player somehow fulfills their alternative win condition AND makes it all the way, they shall be the "Grand Champion of all Survivor-dom."

You may NOT disclose your role in this topic. And if you directly quote the Role PM, I may have to boot you for the game. That might sound harsh, but the key to this formula working is secrecy. You can blab to players you make alliances with about your abilities, but you or your allies cannot publicly mention anything about your role. The only exception is if you're out of the game. I will reveal the name of the role, and then nothing else until the season's over.

I ask that you all reply to your Role PMs, as that will be the way of "confirming" your entry into the game. I'd like to start at the end of the week. If you do not reply to the Role PM, you will likely be handicapped for the first challenge, and THAT'S NO GOOD.

Lastly, the flavor text is going to play out like a story, which will likely make the challenges seem very silly. But it's for your entertainment, so I hope you enjoy it anyway. I will state that I plan to put in other users who aren't signed up for this game. No, I didn't ask their permission. But if you guys can write a bunch of silly fan-fics with me in them, I should get to do it too. ^.^b

Seiki walks into the middle of an intersection of a large but empty city. Many large buildings surround the intersection. One in particular behind him has a large television screen on the front of it. The screen flickers to life showing the words "You Have 7 Days".

Seiki turns to look at the tower known as the 104 Building and smiles. "Phase 3 is about to begin."
