I was just wondering if it was worth spending 450 of my remaining 761 gems on Wheellock. I don't have any of the high level companions like Flynn and such. I figured he'd be a big help in leveling, plus if I buy him I'll also get an adventure airship from the quest to have him. Thanks.

I don't think he's worth it for that price, experience is something you will have maxed out at some point, so he's just saving you time.

If you want your Skylanders leveled up asap, then yes. If you don't care about it, then no. Simple as that really.

With over 100 Skylanders and the huge XP requirement to hit level 15, I'd say he's worth it, but only at 450, 900 gems is a bit steep.

I'd say it I s worth saving for Flynn or other things. The level of your skylander mainly matters for sanctuary gold output, not much else.

I got him at half price, completed his timed quest, & got the free airship. That's the only way I could see him worthwhile. Considering he helps level up quicker, it's not a bad thing because you get the bonus gems sooner. Once everyone has reached level 15, I would then consider him useless, but there will be new skylanders & alter-egos to level up hopefully.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to get him as I have a lot of Skylanders and wouldn't mind leveling them more quickly. Plus the Adventure Airship will be a nice bonus.

Do you not still have the times quest? I do. Not sure how it relates to those in other time zones since I thought it was timed from the point the update was released. But maybe it's just timed to a particular date, which isn't really fair for all time zones. If you still have the quest, all your progress over the past week counts towards it, if that's what you mean. I don't have Wheellock, but if I purchase him, I'll automatically get the reward. I just don't have enough nor think he's worth it. Even though I'd like to have an airship, since I don't have one, they go on sale all the time.

I waited til the birthday weekend kicked in to buy him and the other companions at 50% off since I was forced to start over. the quest I have for him now is the adventure/sanctuary called long teeth of the law for 10 gems. it's not indicated as timed quest.

I found him worth it at 450 gems, especially with the free adventure airship. But even without it I would have bought him for 450 gems. I plan to level up all my skylanders so he's a pretty big help.

About wheel lock I bought him and he was working just fine the sanctuaries went up to 900 hero points but I just noticed the other day they are back down to 450, what is going on??

I'm pretty sure someone else posted about this, already, but I can't find it to direct you to what others are saying. I just got Wheellock, so I'm not sure how it worked before, but you will get the bonus. When you get collect, you will see the normal icon that gives you the regular hero points, and the icon for Wheellock that gives you the other. So it won't show up in the list when you go to select your Skylander. That shows the normal amount you will get before the Wheellock bonus. Maybe they had it programmed differently then changed it, for some reason. But that's how other companion bonuses work.

I bought him when he was on sale and I am glad I did. The further you get, the longer it takes to level up. And as the amount of skylanders is still growing, that'll take a lot of time to level them to the max. I choose the quick way, and happy about it.

And off course I was very pleased getting him at 50% discount with an airship as a bonus last week. Good value for money I have to say. Now I am saving up for some extra radiant fields and the new companions Gorm and Tuk (only when on sale).
