Yeah, the series was really good. My only little thing, and I mean little thing, is the last boss of the first game. He is way too easy, even compared to the first boss.

Anyway, I spent a good 4 hours yesterday playing a game I never knew I had. It's called Zapper, and the basis of the game is to save your brother(?) from an evil Magpie that is stealing everything shiny and replacing them with her eggs. You, being a cricket that somehow has electrical powers, sets off to capture/destroy (I'm not sure which) the eggs in every level. There are a total of 10 levels, including the boss fight. For each level, you need to collect the six eggs while avoiding any and all manners of deadly things. This game is quite difficult, being that you only have one hit before you die. The game is very forgiving though, and gives you a whopping 20 lives to start with. If you die in a level, you instantly get sent back to the last egg you collected. The game is set in a 3D overhead view, if that makes any sense, and you have virtually no jumping capability. The game is for PS2, and came out in 2002. My only advice is that you do not confuse the "1" hop with the "2" hop. I died many times to this.

Yeah, and while Wilfre has one of the best themes ever, the battle was really pathetic. At least when you realized that you can shoot underneath him, and he only has two attacks.(The sweep doesn't count, that is how you are supposed to harm him.)

Shadow the Hedgehog. It is one of the most hated Sonic games out there, simply because Shadow uses weapons. The game itself is close to being my favourite game of all time. The story can/will follow whatever you please. If you want to be evil, then listen to the evil guys. If you want to be good, listen to the good guys. If you don't want to do either, then don't. The aliens, yes I said aliens, seem a little corny at first, but you eventually realize just how serious these guys are. The storyline is very dark, (for a sonic game) and Shadow will "cuss" occasionally, things like damn, and hell, but nothing major, retaining the 10+ rating. The game has roughly 10 endings, with one being the "final story" which is the true ending. The game's soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard. This game gives a fair amount of challenge depending on the mission, and if you get an A in every stage, you will unlock expert mode, which will slaughter inexperienced players.

I love this game, and find it's hate completely undeserved.

Fur Fighters - Good grief I love this game. Just as much as Spyro. DC, PC, PS2 and iOS.

Pride of the Dragon Peace - I have yet to find someone else who has ever played this. You get your own dragon and customize his appearance as the game progresses. So underrated you can't even find an ISO of the game. RPG. PS2.

Well, you only have to go through it 10 times, I've gone over 150. There are over 400 possible stories.

You all know me as an avid and die hard classic fan who basically shuts out all attempts to "See the light" with the skylanders, but I actually really like the Legend of spyro series and think it is pretty underrated.

Another game that is underrated has got to be I Am Alive. Epic story, creepy moments and great and innovative game play concepts.

It didnt help none that it was released after Xbox 360 and Wii had already released, and it was PS2 only. Kind of a stupid move. It would of been great if it had been on PS2, 360 and Wii at the same time.

Sure, it eventually was ported to later consoles but it was already too late.

Pokemon Colosseum. Every Pokemon fan I've talked to about it has said they hated it. I personally loved it. Some people say it was very cliche, and that's true. But that doesn't make it a bad game.

Capcom published the game. Clover Studios developed the game. Most of Clover Studios is now Platinum Games. <.<

It was underrated for the time (bombed in sales), but it's gained quite the following. Tomba was requested almost as much as Crash and Spyro for PS All-Stars, IIRC.

Regarding the game's actual quality, yes, it's freakin' amazing. I have yet to finish it, but it's just OOZING with brilliance!

I enjoyed it but i still think that xd is better

I didn't mention this before, but Cave Story is definitely underrated. It's been my favorite video game for almost 4 years(until Assassin's Creed II topped it recently), and definitely deserves more recognition. same goes for the Shantae series, which is one of my favorite game franchises.

it is fun because a few months ago i got 7 on my ds

Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure on 3DS. It was short but had an awesome story and fun, challenging rhythm games. I'm still waiting for the promised sequel after seeing that cliffhanger at the end.

Underrated? this one is more like unknown. Outside of people I have directly showed this game to, I know only one other person who knows it (You know who you are). The game is Dark Cloud, and if you've heard me rant about this game already then just keep scrolling. It's a dungeon-crawler-city-builder where, like the mystery dungeon games, the floors are *never* the same (I've seen a couple the same, but I've played it WAY too much to count that.). The story follows a guy named Toan who is tasked by "The Fairy King"(or God) to rebuild the world after being destroyed by the ultimate evil, which was sealed away then released by a Hitler-esque guy from the other continent. The pieces, or atla, are scattered, (or just thrown in dungeons) around the world. You must rebuild this part of the world, and stop the Evil before he destroys everything again. You slowly build up a party of six, each with unique weapons and skills. The game has a Whp(weapon hit point) system where if you use a weapon too much it will break (they can be repaired, duh). It also features a thirst meter, which conveniently lets you die of dehydration whenever you feel water is useless. Each dungeon has different enemies, a unique look, and a (sometimes) challenging boss. Currently I'm on the 100 floor bonus dungeon, around 37-ish. One word of advice, chests CANNOT be trusted after the first couple floors of any dungeon.

Hmm... underrated... I gotta say pretty much all the Professor Layton games. Well, it's not that they are extremely underrated, but they are so unknown (at least in America). I guess it's because not too many people are into puzzle games. I gotta say I wasn't either, but these games are so amazing. Most of the puzzles are extremely clever, and the stories and mysteries are just so entertaining. The soundtrack is pretty amazing too. At least it was popular enough to have it's own movie

Another underrated game must be Yoshi Island DS. Sure, it may not me any better than the original, but it stays true to the formula, the storyline is pretty good and it's a decent sequel. Plus the different abilities each baby gives you is so great

About Yoshi's island... It was odd in the sense that each of the babies are born with some kind of star, and that it included Bowser! Does that mean that we will see him as a direct protagonist more often?

We need a game with Bowser as the protagonist fully. You would have to save the 7 koopalings and Bowser Jr from...Mr L, I suppose.

I guess, or some guy like Fawful or Smithy or Dimentio.

Bowser was great as a character in Bowser's Inside Story. He was one major protagonist in that one. Sure, he was the anti-hero, and I guess he will always be. But it really isn't a bad idea if we have a game with him alone (without the brothers helping out). Why, Princess Peach had her own game, why shouldn't he? Even Shadow from Sega has it's own game, and he is not exactly the hero type. So what is Nintendo waiting for?

Hopefully they're waiting for christmas.
