So, we went to the dentist today. I found out that I have a wisdom tooth growing in, a tooth overlap on one side, and teeth that won't interlock on the other side. I might need braces. And my brother got his first cavity. D:
On the bright side, I don't have any cavities...

I had a root canal and the dentist messed up, so just a month later and shortly after I was too old to be included in my families health insurance plan, the tooth fell out. I woke up and the tooth just fell right out of my mouth. The entire thing. I went to the dentist and they said it would cost me $1,000 to get a replacement even though the dentist was the one that screwed it up. Then I had a very weak fake tooth that was glued into my mouth ever couple of months for nearly a year. I finally got a job and paid off the replacement tooth. Now I just have to wait until it falls out again...

I also had 4 back teeth removed to prepare my mouth for braces but my family couldn't afford them so it was all for nothing.

Woah. That sucks. My mom went to a dentist once who filled in teeth for cavities (even if there wasn't one) for money. He got arrested. D:

How old am I in 11 days or now? My birthday's coming up. :3

Um, ya, I still chew gum, eat popcorn, eat salt water taffy, and so on. It does no damage to my braces.

I'm so sorry. Braces kinda suck. (I know from experience, I have them in now) And I'm getting oral surgery soon.

Lots of people are here with ya'. Tooth pain is hoooorrible, but we'll all get through it.

It isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Eventually, you forget they're there. For the first few days, they are uncomfortable, but you get used to them.

Sounds like glasses in that respect.

Ah, okay. My mom says there's a chance I won't need them, but still, I'd like to prepare myself just in case...

If me or anyone else has to get braces, get the clear ones. No one will ever know they're there.

i used to go, not anymore. i guess i did need braces a few months back, *not anytime soon or before dentist* because a stick was growing on the top molar. it chipped off, so i dodged a bullet there .

Actually, a year with braces turned me off popcorn for life, it would seem. ^.^b

Yeah.

Ha! I have Braces for five years!

One tooth of mine really needs to get checked soon.
If I eat something too large it sends really sharp pains that can only be healed by cold water.
Although I am currently training myself to eat with only the other side to avoid the pain. (You cant imagine how much you eat using both sides)

Hm. I've always eaten on one side or the other. I'd switch if I had a loose tooth on one side.
