"W-Wh-Where?" A Fae looked around hastily, her ears pressed back, eyes wide. She didn't have the slightest clue of where she was... Who she was... Anything... All of it was just gone... BOOM!! Thunder echoed and rain streamed down through the leaves on the trees. She sneezed as some dappled her nose, and she shivered. She folded her wings up over her to try and stop the water from splattering her. 'I'll die of hypothermia here, alone...' Suddenly the foliage shuffled, and a Smoke Gyre flew out, screeching. "What is that!?" She jumped back, slipping on the soggy terrain, desperate to get away. "Smoulder!! Get your tail back here! I said I'll protect you with me wings you little..." The Fae squealed and jumped behind the cover of a bush as she saw a Black Spiral slip through the forest, flying efficiently with it's multiple wings. "Smoulder!" "KKAAAW!!" 'Smoulder' flew higher and higher, kawing repeatedly. "Stop taunting me!! Get down here, now!" The Spiral spat the ending, and even Smoulder listened, fluttering down, disappointed. "Here." He lifted a wing so Smoulder would be safe from the storm, but the sassy Smoke Gyre turned his head away, refusing. "Fine. Your call." The Fae's heart leaped when she realized they were coming straight for her. "Eek!!" She jumped out of the bush, trying to fly... But falling when she realized that she couldn't remember how... "Hey. Who are you?" "I-I uh, I'm not sure..." The Spiral gave her a quizzical look. 'His eyes...' She shook her head, clearing the thought of him. "You okay?" "I think so. Maybe..." He glanced at Smoulder, who shared a glance with him, then seemed to remember that he was shunning the dragon and turned away once more. "Uh, you got somewhere to stay? This storm is gonna get worse, you know." "Um..." "You know what? Forget it. Come with us." "I-" "I'm Ombre." "I'm... Uh..." She racked her brain. "Do you even know?" "No..." "Do you have any memories at all? You looked at me and Smoulder like we were gonna kill you." "No. Huh, that's weird..." "What?" "Nothing, nothing." She shook her head. "Well, what should I call you?" "I don't know..." Ombre sighed, slightly annoyed. "Fine. I'll just call you Memory until you remember, okay?" "Uh yeah, okay!" Giving her another curious look, he gestured to her to follow him. She did, without a word. She didn't, however, notice the small smile on his face.
