The earth tremored as an unknown entity crashed into the ground, sending a massive shockwave out in all directions. Through the cloud of dust, a pair of stunning, chlorophyll-green eyes flashed as they surveyed the area. As the dust settled, the glowing form of Foxtail was revealed.

When the roar of thunder had alerted him from afar, he knew it was time to take action. After promising Shikari he would return soon, he took off for the crash site.

Life seemed to be restored to the desolate landscape as he moved, lush green vegetation sprouting, recovering from the damage previously dealt to it. A cocky smile spread across his muzzle at the sight of Metalliform.

"So, you're finally back?" he said, talking smack. "Took you long enough, ya crazy bastard." He dashed around back, continuing to taunt him. "I beat you before, and that was with ****ty powers, so what makes you think you can win this time?"

He dashed again, this time in plain sight. His eyes briefly flashed a crimson hue as fire started forming on his front paws, and worked its way up his body.

OOC: Did Foxtail heal the area around the tower?

Metalliform glared at Foxtail. "YOU'VE LEARNED NOTHING ABOUT US IF YOU'RE INCLINED TO TALK LIKE THAT, MORTAL." He charged another attack.

The Storm cloud above the area was absolutely gigantic, it could be seen from space easily.
With a swift flick of her spear, Fluttershy summoned the rain. And it came down like a flood.
With a shout of anger, lightning began converging on the small area of cloud above her.
With a louder shout, the speed of the wind accelerated drastically.

"Don't ignore me Metlliform!" Fluttershy seethed from above, she was almost ready to unleash her might.





Cadence was scared, not by the display, not by Metlliform, but of herself, the was display of power was bringing up images... memories of dark Alicorn 'eating' stars and tearing apart a planet to defend it... worst of all, all of the clues pointed towards her being that Alicorn.

"No.." she weakly protested, putting her forehooves to her head to cradle it.

Metalliform glared upwards.

"FOOLS. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU DO. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH POWER YOU HOLD. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU FEEL. THE DARKNESS IS ETERNAL. YOU CANNOT OPPOSE US FOREVER."

Metalliform released a homing blast of energy at Foxtail.

OOC: Fluttershy may do a lot of damage to Metalliform, but I feel that, owing to his incredible resilience, it may not be quite enough to defeat him in one shot.

[OOC: It's a one off thing, she's currently in the middle of dealing with the 'death' of her friend.]

"TO TARTARUS WITH YOU THEN!" Fluttershy bellowed, unleashing the full might of the storm upon Metalliform's position. The stress of channeling it took quite a lot of energy out of her, but she persisted.

Lightning forked out, hitting anything it could, mostly the area around the wreckage.





Cadence's mind was becoming clouded by darker and darker thoughts. She hated those thoughts, but she simply could not distract her mind from them, they were slowly taking over her mind.

And they did.


The temperature around the wreckage dropped considerably.

A dark entity had returned. And she... she laughed with a wicked dual-toned voice that echoed deep into distance.

"It's good to be back." she said with mirth, as shadows began to change her appearance.

OOC: Well. It seems Metalliform's presence indirectly causes an event that corrupts Cadence. How... interesting. This may change some things... (I did want to do something with the Tower that results in the characters revisiting it, with Velkir reappearing after). Unfortunately I don't currently have a response, and might want to wait for Skyhunter to post again anyway.

OOC: Also I'm not sure I want to take this into space again. That seems like it'd make things difficult for some people.

[OOC: I Agree, no interplanetary or interstellar interaction. The roleplay sticks firmly to the planet, and maybe it's moon?]

OOC: Depends on what you wanted to do with the moon I suppose. And in accordance with the no interplanetary/interstellar interaction, I had intended to make Velkir smaller than he had been in Be Your Avatar II (but he'll still be gigantic).

OOC: I'll be out for a bit, don't do too much while I'm out.

[OOC: Blow it up? (Joking). Toning down what they were in BYA II sounds most appropriate. So when Cadence starts drawing power from stars, it will only be the planet's sun, even then, she'll only be siphoning some of the energy from it. Not consuming them.]

OOC: I'm back.

The rain had doused Foxtail's flames, but they were the least of his worries. To his horror, his appearance was rapidly changing into his possessed form against his own will.

"What... no... no.... no!!"

He struggled to maintain his natural form, but it was all in vain. He had been consumed by the corruption. Enraged, he whipped around in an attempt to locate the cause, when his eyes landed on Candence in the shadows.

In an instant, he barreled into her and pinned her down with the strength of a being several times his size.

"You vile wretch! What have you done to me?!" he wrathfully demanded, his dead eyes locked onto hers. They seemed to be staring directly into her corrupt soul.

"Nothing?" Cadence innocently suggested, despite her darker awakening. Then quickly faded from his view. Reappearing on her hooves a few feet away from him.


Her eyes had now changed, once sweet pink eyes had become malevolent, dark red orbs, leaking magical energies into the air. she, returned his stare in the form of a glare.

"What on Tartarus are you talking about anyway?" she questioned. The sling for her wing loosening and falling off, her new found magical power healing her wing and broken horn.





Fluttershy. currently the herald of a super-storm, was starting to feel increasingly weaker from channeling her magic into it. Using it to strike the area below nearly knocked her out.

She tried descending to the ground, her flight path was very erratic. She could not focus at all, sleep clawing at the edges of her eyes. she landed a good fifty meters away from the scene, lightning nearly striking her as she lost consciousness.





Unbeknownst to her, a bolt of lightning has struck the form of Pinkamena, it did not incinerate the body however. It... did something unnatural.

It brought life back to the body.

"Unnh" the Pink Mare moaned, struggling to a standing position, she scanned her immediate surroundings. Then it hit her.

"I died again, Didn't I?!" she shouted in outrage.

OOC: I guess I'll move to this stage now. Things like this can be hard to post sometimes.

An electrical orb of immense power was sent flying at Foxtail and Cadence suddenly.

"YOU PATHETIC MORTALS ARE REALLY PUSHING IT NOW!" The voice came down like thunder.

Metalliform still stood, albeit with significant damage. But he was also highly enraged, so much so that he had changed into a second form. His eyes now glowed slightly, his horn had become a glowing thunderbolt, and his mane and tail had become crackling lightning. He also now had claws that crackled with electricity.

OOC: Just to clear it up: He didn't gain this form because of Fluttershy; I had it planned already. And also, I'd like to keep Metalliform a challenge somewhat, m'kay?

OOC: Oh, and the orb's highly explosive, by the way.

ooc: REACAP! too much!

ooc: Yeah, HUGE recap.

ooc: anyways, I only know Shikari ran over to Freeze Blade and Megna charge, she tripped over Emerald and that's it, thats the story I'm keeping myself buzzy with, the otthers are fighting against Metalliform If I am right

"Thanks Fox" Shikari wasn't sure if Foxtail listenend to her, so she kept on running, but she slipped, and,

Right into Freeze Blade

"Whoa!" Freeze Blade exclaimed. "Are you...Dark Stealth Elf?"

Shikari stood up as fast as she could
"Dark? Stealth Elf? oh, wait, yes, yes I am, I forgot for a second, I tought You where a Striker in the first place"
Shikari's eys blinked

"Well, how did you get here? Where are we anyways?" Magna Charge inquired.

"I have no idea how I came here... I wish I just co-"
Shikari could not finish her sentence, as Aqua Strike appeared out of the nowhere and slammed his tail into Shikari's head, obviously, Shikari fainted from the inpact the tail homed in
"Well, that was a bit too easy" Aqua said to himself, then noticed Freeze Blade and Megna Charge
"You where looking at me?"

"GAH! WHY did you do that?!" Freeze Blade asked in surprise and shock. "She was the only lead as to what we're supposed to do!"

"Supposed to do? HAHAHAHAAA AH AH...ah...cough, in all the mitch match, you think a virus can lead you, yeah.....no.........I still wonder how she escaped from Emerald, oh I dont care"
And with that Aqua picked up Shikari, and dragged her away, without saying what he was gonna do, of course Freeze Blade and Megna Charge where about to follow him, but he didn't care

"We have to follow him." Freeze Blade whispered to Magna Charge.

"Yeah, but we don't know about any of his abilities, besides whacking people in the head."

"Well, we need more answers. We'll have to follow him silently."

"I wish we could swap with Stink Bomb or Trap Shadow..." Magna Charge muttered.

And thus, they began to follow Aqua Strike slowly, which was very difficult for the two Skylanders who were used to speed.

Aqua Strike looked behind is back severall times, but didn't see anything
"I wonder why I havn't been attacked yet...."
"Hey! Aqua! Seems like you got 'em" Sand Strike plopped her head out of the earth, Aqua nearly stepped on her
"HOLY SHIZ watch out where you go Sand Strike"
"Sorry, my fault. Have you seen Emerald lately?"
"No, I have not.." Aqua Strike was struggling with the Dark Elf's weight "This Virus is heavy"
"ok then..... what are you gonna do now? I am too bored to grab a knife, or to drag her into a pile O mud"
"I dont know, may poison her or, whatever just kill it"
Sand Strike didn't care less, and dissapeared in the ground again
Aqua went on walking

"Why does he keep calling her a "virus"?" Freeze Blade whispered.

"I don't know. But if he's trying to kill her, then we need to keep following. We need answers." Magna Charge replied.

The Skylanders continued to quietly follow him.

Aqua was a bit tired of carrying the elf around, and decided to take a nap for a second, but before he did so, he tied the sleeping Dark Elf to a tree, THEN he started to snore

"Should we save her yet?" Freeze Blade asked.

"Hmm...It's too easy. He might be bluffing, going to sleep like that. You could, but, being a robot, I'm not exactly light."

"Okay, I've got her."

Freeze Blade climbed down the tree, and used his ice blade to cut the rope. He grabbed the elf, but before he could run...

He stepped on a stick, which broke the silence of the forest with a loud "crack".

Aqua Strike shocked "WHO'S THERE!" His voice was loud enough for Lighting to hear him
she came flying by
"Aqua, what is going on!"
Aqua Saw Freeze Blade and Megna Charge holding Shikari "HEY! you are holding my FOOD!"
He attacked furyously slamming his tail in front of Freeze Blade's face

"OW!" Freeze Blade exclaimed. Luckily, he survived the hit.

Magna Charge jumped off the tree, saw Aqua Strike awake and angry, and began to speed away. As did Freeze Blade.

"Here, you take her!" Freeze Blade tossed Shikari to Magna Charge.

"I only have one hand! You take her!" He tossed her back.

"But I have to throw my ice blade at him!"

"Then I'll throw your ice blade!"

"You don't know how to throw an ice blade!"

In all the commotion, they suddenly swapped.

Unable to control their new lower halves, they crashed, with Shikari flying up and landing on top of a tree.

ooc: Last post for now. I'll be back.

"You two, YOU TWO SWAPPED! Its a curse its a curse, Emerald needs to know"
without even bothering Aqua Strike slithered away quickly

Lighting Strike was flying around wen she noticed Shikari on top of a tree
"That is easy, wonder how Miss Virus got there"
Lighting stroke down on the tree, and poked Shikari a few times
"This one's very fast asleep, I wonder what happend..."

"Don't play innocent with me, it can't be a coincidence that I became this shortly after you."

He lunged at her again, claws extended, ready to reduce her to a bloody pulp.

And then he stopped dead in his tracks, suspended in animation. His body had remained in reality, but his mind had traveled elsewhere.

He found himself in a dark, bleak room constructed of brick, only illuminated by a fireplace. Three faces floated in the dark, grinning creepily at him. It came to him: he was in the Nether.

"What is the meaning of this!?" he exclaimed. A glowing skull formed above his head and he launched it at the demon, only to have it be swatted away by a flick of the specter's tailbone. Foxtail rushed head-on, but was stopped short by a kind of psychic energy. He felt himself being thrust against a wall, hunks of brick engulfing his paws, restricting further movement.

The demon began to speak. "That's better. Now listen, young vulpine. I have called you here for a purpose. As you are no doubt aware, a certain equine has returned to her former corrupt self, and I fear that history may repeat itself."

"Wait, before you wanted to destroy the world, now you want to defend it? What kind of bull**** is this?"

"I'm doing it to keep the universe in balance, and need I remind you that I was under Herobrine's orders before?"

Foxtail was calmed by this revelation, but still had questions. "So, what do you want me to do?"

"As you know, I am incapable of leaving the Nether without outside interference. So I give you this task: protect the world from her malice. No matter what it takes, or what stands in your way, do not let her take another world."

"I will,... 'Mr. President'." He referred to a name tag on his desk reading "President Wither."

The Wither gave three trustful smiles. "I have faith in you, young one."


Foxtail's mind returned to reality, and he stopped his claw inches from Candence's throat.

"Wait, fighting will get us nowhere. Perhaps we can work out a compromise? You do whatever you need to defeat this thing, but leave the planet's well-being to me. It'll be in good paws, don't worry."

"And know this: it is useless to rebel. Anything you do to this world I can just as easily repair. So, do we have a deal?"

OOC: Guess I'll let you guys respond to my post whenever you want to.

OOC: And to NINJAsk11 and Spyro7850... There's a lot going on. Metalliform appeared and started attacking, Fluttershy flew up and pretty much summoned a thunderstorm to attack him I guess... And now Cadence is corrupted again. One would most likely notice these things from a long ways away.

Cadence giggled with joy as she disapeared yet again, appearing above him as a mass of... what looked like a black mist, it spoke with a voice that could freeze stars, figuratively of course.

"La la de-da, I have a threat of my own to exchange, if you could call what you said a threat." she giggled, magical energies gathering at the ground beneath her ethereal form.

"Harm me, or any other pony here, and I will make the falsehoods that you spew from that lying mouth of yours true." she spat. Anger welling up inside of her, causing the ground below her to suddenly and spontaneously combust.

"But enough talk, there's a psychotic tin can shooting at us."

Cadence simply ascended from her current position, five meters above the scene. Putting out the flames below her as she did.

She was however. Insulted by Metlliform's choice of words.

"YOU CALL ME MORTAL!? WHAT RIGHT HAVE YOU TO DO THAT? Besides.... you should try a different feeling aside from hate. Hate's bad... bad bad bad baaaaaad. Guess that's what makes you inferior to all other life, and why you want to destroy it. Eh, I don't care really, you want to kill me and my fellow Equestrians, so I guess you force my hoof on this, tinface." Cadence giggled with the name she used, like it was the deciding factor of her argument.

Metalliform took the attacks and then readied his own. Focusing on Foxtail, he spread his wings, which began to charge up with electricity. Whatever attack he had planned, it would surely hurt if it hit.

"Cliché..." Cadence remarked, drawing magical energies to the land around her, concertinaing them into small nodes that pulsated every few seconds. She was preparing a spell, but gave Metalliform no real thought.

The fighting distracted her from tending to the orbs of magical energy, most of which were almost pure white in color. The minority being various shades of grey.

"Um, hey... could you two wait a sec'? I'm working on something here." the ethereal Alicorn dismissively asked, like she did not care about the fight at all.




Pinkamena, both dazed and confused began trotting out of her place of death clumsily. Death did take a lot of energy out of her. The lack of energy was taking it's toll on her awareness too, she barely registered the chaos around her and didn't even blink when a ball of lightning whizzed past her.

When the haze in her mind cleared, it only took her a few seconds to finds words appropriate to the situation she found herself in.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF TARTARUS IS GOING ON HERE?" she bellowed, loud enough to be heard for miles around the crash site.

"I'm absent for..." she trailed off, thinking things over in her head.

"For thirty minutes and suddenly there's a fight going on? When will I ever catch a break?" she complained. Groaning when she finished.

The group continued on, trying to find where Emerald could have hidden the weapons. And it didnt help that Pit`s leg was broken, Ike helped him walk as they searched.

With an eye roll, Foxtail decided to humor Candence. He stood down to allow her to cast her spell, but not before enveloping himself in a "bio-shield". It wouldn't completely negate Metalliform's attack, but would certainly offer some protection.

*Link, Gallade, and Wolverine helped Pit and Ike search*

Being already focused on Foxtail, Metalliform paid no heed to either Cadence or Pinkamena. Instead he initiated his attack, suddenly rocketing straight towards Foxtail like a bolt of lightning.

OOC: It's basically a tackle. He'd smash through anything in his way as well.

OOC: Something I'd to note: Velkir has a total of four forms, the first two of which appeared in BYA II. I'd like to say that he never went beyond his second form in BYA II, as I want his third and fourth forms to be a complete surprise. Sound good? (Also still waiting for a response to Metalliform's attack).

OOC: Sounds good to me.

A large ditch was created as a result of Metalliform's rush at the fox. Foxtail had used part of his own life forces to create his shield, so in addition to blunt force trauma, he was a bit exhausted. As a tactical retreat, he burrowed into the ground for temporary refuge while he regenerated.



Treetop was no longer present, although in his absence, a note scrawled in barely comprehensible writing lay on the ground. Something about a "secret weapon" could be made out.



"C'mon! Please?"

Lotus was begging Blister and Shaydes to let her fight, a request that they both denied.

"It's too dangerous," Shaydes said, "and I'd hate to see you get hurt."

"But you're letting Foxtail fight!"

Blister spoke up. "That's simply because he has otherworldly power, granted to him by... the Wither." He performs a gesture to ward off the evil he believed to arrive at the mention of the Wither's name.

Distraught, Lotus sighed. "Fine..." she said in a defeated tone, but then something donned in her head. "Wait a minute, you guys are Minecraftians just like this Wither guy, right? So, why can't you give me your power like he did to Foxtail?"

The two exchanged worried glances. They knew it was possible, but neither had done it themselves before. They didn't know the risks, or even if it would work, but they didn't see why it wouldn't, so they went for it. They both rhythmically alternated speech, almost as if rehearsed.

"Do you, Lotus Wild,"
"Vow to stay true to these powers,"
"To have and to hold,"
"For better and worse,"
"For richer and poorer,"
"In sickness and in health,"
"As long as you shall live?"

"If I didn't, I wouldn't be asking, would I?"

"Then by the power invested in me, Blisterius III,"
"And me, Kate 'Shaydes' Endetta,"
"We bestow upon you the power of the Blaze civilization,"
"And of the Enderman party."
