How come the wave 2 release date for Australia is around the 15th of November when America is getting wave 3 at the same time? Unfair!!

It actually is confirmed by TheHDRoom, they're semi-reliable when it comes to release date news.

You brought this up in another thread and it was pointed out that they only think that the date will be around the 15th. They didn't confirm anything.

Well at least we actually have a possible date. Last year with wave 3 in Giants, it wasn't even a confirmed date on a site let alone the complete lineup for the wave. This one seems more plausible than last year and someone already mentioned in a interview that apparently they're trying to release all the swappers as soon as possible. Heard that from someone in the Skylanders Swap Force page in the game row at the top.

portalflip pretty much covered it, but I'm not really impuning TheHDRoom on the other thread. They are pretty reliable, but their post was NOT specific, nor have they or anyone else further clarified. Their wording was definitely hedging. I think too often our excitement gets ahead of ourselves and we read things into the words of otherwise reliable sources.

Are you kidding? The last time I got onto TheHDRoom I got a Trojan virus on my computer. Sure the information is reliable, but who knows how many of the users on this site also have one. I was able to get it out, but still.

then november 15th is the expected release. with lc and as an example.

I'm wondering about this November 15th date and if it is likely to be different at TRU. From what I can remember from this year and last TRU has had new releases on Wednesdays and Sundays. The 15th is a Friday. Combine this with the facts that the 15th is not exactly confirmed and that TRU often gets things a little earlier than other places, I can't help but think that it would be a good idea to watch your inbox on Tuesday and Saturday nights until we get more definite news.

In my opinion, Nov 15th is a HORRIBLE date for Wave 3. The PS4 comes out that day and I don't want to be fighting for a spot in line with Sony fanboys. The place will be nuts just with the PS4 launch... putting a skylanders full wave release on top of that would be insane.

I agree with wombatnadchips post above, TRU normally does a Sunday release, with an occasional Wed release. Putting a major release on a Friday is odd and doing it with the PS4 launch doesn't make alot of sense to me. I don't see the normal 'parents' crowd I've been in line with for Skylander's launches being there mingling with the PS4 launch kids. Sure some parents will be in line to get this as an xmas present but with a $400 entry level pricetag with no games and a questionable launch lineup I wouldn't think there would be that many. You have a potential for Sony fanboys (or ebay/craigs flippers) trampling kids here.. and that is not cool.

That still isn't fair...

Keep in mind some were certain a Wave 3 release last year would coincide the release of the WiiU and its version of the game. didn't happen. Stores are going to be busy enough with the lines for the PS4, the last thing they need is some guy waiting in the line for opening going "Hey you guys got Spy Rise?".

Ah well, I'm willing to be beat up by crazy Sony fans just to get a hold of Spy Rise.

But I'm personally hoping that Wave 3 DOESN'T come on the 15th, that is just such a bad day for me.

I just hope it does come out soon so I can get a hold of my . and are cool too, but I'm in it for for wave 3 and the last packs for Swap Force.

Im into Wave 3 since it has my favorite 3 swappers (also the 3 swappers I need to 100%), Wind-Up and Camo who I've been DYING to find!

Most will be getting their PS4s at midnight launch. So hopefully that won't be a problem.

i think that wave 3 is coming out on 13th or 15th november

The day my army of wind-ups will invade local retail stores.

I'm new to the forum, so someone may have already asked this.
I found the core wave 2 characters (I'm in Brampton, Ontario, Canada), but no luck finding the wave 2 swappable a yet. Anyone in the area had any luck. I've been trying TRU and EB Games on almost a daily basis.

Amazon.com has them in stock at regular price, at least in the US.
