You can breed them, but they'll for sure produce the other parent's kind. (or nothing) IDK what would happen if it were 2 Halloween of different kinds though. (likely nothing)

Someone had a genderswap on EATW for a Shadowwalker. It happened to be posted right as I was about to post a genderswap lol. So, the person said that the lineage didn't matter, so I traded my female 2nd gen one for their male PB 2nd gen.
