I posted this question in another forum but I didn't get an answer on it. I am wondering if anyone in the US has ever found Skylanders figures in the stores that are packaged for Canada, EU and AU? You know the two peg variety with all the flags on the back of the box? I ordered a Legendary Giants 3-pack from TRU online and picked it up yesterday and noticed it had the foreign packaging. And the more I look at this I notice too that the "only at TRU" logo on the top left is missing as well.

I've only heard one account of a person finding one. He found a S2 Whirlwind like that.

It's literally one of the rarest errors you could get, but since it's just a foreign repackage, it's not worth anything.

I guess this is just a case of them finding random stock in the back of a storage room, and it just so happened that it wasn't the regular one hook.

What about the missing "only at TRU" label? Legendary figures are exclusive to TRU even internationally right?

Some foreign places have other random stores that sell them.

The latest shipments don't have the label. Same goes for L-Bouncer.

Can't speak for the US, but Targets here in Canada received Granite Crusher recently with the International "peg cut-out" and no only at Target sticker. Funny thing was that the packaging is English-only, and here in Quebec, the packaging MUST be bilingual (English-French).

Note that Targets in Canada were not open for many months following Granite Crusher's release in the US Targets.

The legendary figures at TRU in Sweden has never had any only at TRU label.
Reason: The same legendary figures are also sold at the toy chain "BR Leksaker"
Legendary Stealth Elf was a Mediamarkt exclusive.

I got my Tru.com legendary pack it wasn't us peg style...it also came partly open and ignitors hand is broken off...way to go Tru. I forget if the Tru sticker was there or not, i will check when I get home tonight, unless wire can take a picture beforehand.

In Australia we mostly get the US packing even for the packs the US didn't get. The only exception was glow fright rider which was in the EU packing.

I did take a couple pictures of it and should try and upload them with my 3DS. The quality may suck but I did make sure to get pics of the EU Whirlwind and a US one side by side in the store.

Didn't buy the EU one as yeah, it's rare to find, but worthless as it's just a regional package swap.

SO weird! Notice that the European package, the picture of Whirlwind is mirrored! I thought the only difference was the peg hole and what's printed on the back!

The other thing I was going to say has already been said, that Canadian packaging is the same as American, and I think Australia has American packaging too... The double peg is European mainly.

Hey EU, if you have anymore figures "left over" that you don't want like the Legendary's send them over!

Basically.
The shipments of international figures are always separate from the regular vanilla ones.

I just received my Giants Legendary 3 pack which I ordered off TRU.com. It does not have the exclusively at Toys R Us stamp on it and the hook on it is all weird as well.
