I didn't seek them out most of the time, just clicked them when they happened to be there. Then it got a bit addictive and I couldn't not complete it.

I should be reading my 550 pages Russian book with some disturbed guy whose personality is so creepily like mine and then he kills his master by hacking her head with an axe.

I just randomly look at it every hour or two, then collect whatever I see. XP

That sounds like an interesting book though! At least that is interesting enough as far as work goes.

It is interesting. I have to read it for my book report, but since it was written during the time of realism/naturalism, there are so many details that you just wouldn't care about. Like a drunken dude telling his entire life story which I didn't even understand because he was drunk. :[

What is the book called? Not that I'll have heard of it but anyway...

I'm glad I never took literature, reading books is one thing but sifting through for every little adjective that could indicate this or that just seems kind of pointless. Plus most of the books are just downright depressing or boring. Or maybe not in your case.

Urgh, I like literature but the books they give us are too demanding. The previous one I read was so annoying. There were 3 main characters, they were all mixed up. Some student had a rich relative who helped him decide which one of 3 other rich ladies should he take for a wife, then two of those women were daughters of another main, poor character. And then there was some murderer/thief who was acting creepy but meant no harm and was secretly rich until guards arrested him. And they all lived at some disgusting hotel. Worst thing was that they all had French names. Couldn't remember any of them. I hope this Russian one won't be so hard to memorize, but then again, such weird names too... Raskoljnjikov, Marmeladov, Afanasjevič... who thought of those names? ;__;

They never choose easy books to study. There's always something. Either being downright boring, frustrating, depressing, having impossible names... It's never nice and easy and pleasant.

I think I've only liked The Sorrows of Young Werther. But that one ended up with a suicide of the main character.

Edgar Alan Poe, however, has the most disturbing books I've ever read. o.o

Like I said. Never a happy story. There's always something extremely depressing.

A little bit of Raven, and a short story Black Cat.

Both are really, really creepy. The author is living alone in some house deep in the forest, then the Raven flies into his house through the window. The author keeps talking to him and the Raven just keeps saying ''Nevermore''. Apparently the raven is supposed to be the messenger from Hell.

Black Cat is just... I don't know. It starts of really nice and calm, how the author loved all his animals, and eventually he became frustrated and started drinking, hurting all his animals, though there was only one black cat he really loved. Eventually he found the cat's cuddly nature disgusting, and dug the cat's eye out with a knife. The cat lived, and then for whatever reason he hanged it on a tree. Next day the author's house burned down to ashes, only one wall stood tall, with a black print of the cat hanging. He moves out and gets a new cat that looked very similar to the old one, which he loved, until the cat got in a fight and lost its eye, and eventually he found out the cat has a white marking under its neck in a shape of a rope. It was supposed to show how the author felt guilty for what he has done, but then that new cat frustrated him when it ran past him and he went to kill it with an axe. His wife tried to stop him and instead he hacked the axe into her head, and buried her in a wall. After that he kept hearing hell-like screams coming from the wall.
Really I couldn't sleep that night. And Black Cat is really short, like 20 pages. I read it in English online.

Last year, 2nd grade of high school.

Book of Judith was kinda more, um, inappropriate, but I didn't read it since I couldn't get my hands on it. Some woman seduces the leader to save her people, then they have sex and from what I heard, it was pretty detailed in a simplified version of it. After sex she cuts the leader's head off with his sword... XD

I'm so confused by how non-British schools work. Is that the overall 10th or 11th grade in school?

I plan to go to England to university for a designer. Either graphic or concept artist... but with my skills I don't think that will ever happen.

Ah right. I read a thing on wiki answers or somewhere and it got me confused. Also, don't be harsh on yourself, as long as you put the effort in you have every chance in the world of getting in no matter what you do.
