Okay first off, SUPER EXCITED for HD 2.5 Remix, because of 2 FM. I'm also looking forward to fighting Sephiroph again, I already beat him back when the game came out on normal difficulty (I was 8 at the time), so seeing how now I'm 15 and Beat Dream Drop Distance on Critical mode and beat BBS Aqua and Ventus stories on Proud mode, I wonder how hard its gonna be to beat him this time? As for KH III, WTF with those star/light pistols Sora has? Is KH becoming Kid Icarus Uprising? Also, is it me, or does Big Magic Mountain have not the slightest resemblence to Disney World's Big Thunder Mountain?

2.5 contains the SECOND. (Plus the games that go between it and 3 - well, kinda. BBS is a bit of an odd one, but I guess as it was released between 2 and 3D, it still fits a bit.)
358/2 Days is a reference to the number of days the story takes place over, and the fact that it relates to 2 character's journey throughout those days.
3D refers to the fact it's on the 3DS. Plus the 3 D's refer to the games subtitle, Dream Drop Distance.

Actually, my personal theory is that it's a reference to Roxas' duration in Organization XIII. 358 days in the Organization, 2 days out of it.

Guess I can't judge self-cest as Xion and Roxas is little better XD (though biologically, they aren't related, so it's fine, really none of the characters are biologically the same, save Namine and Roxas, who are basically half-siblings, and Namine and Kairi, being part Ventus and part Kairi, and obvious Roxas and Ventus, but I'm getting off topic, it's so easy what with this series' kudzu cosmology)

Also, to be honest, the majority of KH fanfic is [bad enough I'd use strong language if it weren't disallowed on this site, and I almost never use strong language], but the few good examples are stunning: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2...rrow_of_Magpies (now this, this is how you write Organization XIII, not a bunch of yaoi bishies who all happen to be kind and sweet idiots, but chilling, sociopathic, amusingly witty but cold, undeniably evil beings who have lost all humanity), and amazingly, despite being written years ago, for the most part (other than Xigbar's scar and Lea and Isa's origins) it has remained mostly canon even with all the newer complexities (in fact it even goes perfectly with the big reveal in DDD). Definitely a good read for anyone who enjoys deep writing and well-done characterization.

Seeing as I had only played Re:Coded when I got 358/2 Days (and hadn't payed attention to the former's story so much), Xion's fate came as a total shock as I had expected a happy ending (I was naive and didn't know Square Enix's traditions XD) and what's more I was dealing with a depressed friend at the time who reminded me of Xion, so really the whole thing was the most feels I've ever gotten from anything Disney (maybe even anything fictional) ever. While the dub might've not been the best, that death scene remains among my favorite of all time, as is the music.

I still wouldn't call him a Disney villain. They may own the rights, but that doesn't necessarily make them Disney characters. It just determines who gets royalties from merchandise and marketing for them and other technical copyright junk.

Well I consider him the greatest Disney villain, but maybe that's just me. He certainly is a villain though, no one finds his Master form sympathetic (and this from a fandom that finds mass-murdering sociopathic eldritch abominations to be sweet cuddly little kawaii yaoi magnets).

Yeah, I was hoping for another art book this time around

Just picked up 2.5 HD ReMIX! Walmart had a few limited edition copies left, and I was lucky enough to snag one

So excited for Friday when I can pick up the Collector's edition I pre-ordered. I think I might actually be more excited for the Heartless plushie than I am for the game.

I picked up my copy the other day, and I've been loving it so far.

Got the one I pre-ordered a couple of days ago, and omg the Heartless plushie is so cute <3

The artbook is smaller than I expected and isn't too interesting, having stuff that's been seen before. One thing i did find interesting is the Concept art for Mirage Arena. It looks entirely different than what we did end up with; more flowery and festive. Personally, I prefer what we got instead.
