I'm interested to know if that Wash Buckler shown in the Wii U Swap Force bundle is an in-game variant or just a special figure. I can't make out if it's simply a Dark Wash Buckler or something new. Not hoping for another system bundle just to get one figure like Gnarly Tree Rex (this was way before anyone knew it would be released by itself over 6 months later).

EDIT: Although I didn't notice this was already mentioned in the Swap Force forum, it wasn't mentioned in this forum.

Oh forget THAT. I already have two Wash Bucklers I don't play with, I don't need a third for anything near that price.

I hear you. Based on the fact that the 3DS Swap Force game lists all in-game variants already, there isn't a listing for a different Wash Buckler than the ones we already know about.

This is probably just a "Special" Wash Buckler (no in-game difference to regular Wash Buckler), like the Glow In The Dark and chase variants from Giants, Amazon exclusive S2 Flameslinger, and Pumpkin Eye Brawl. Kind of wish I hadn't entered some of those "special" characters in my Giants console game. I would have loved the counter to be 99 just like the 3DS game now that I finally have Lightcore Hex.

What I think is more interesting is that they plan on having Dark Edition available for that sale. That means they'll be producing a lot more of them, so those hoping to get one later have better chances.

It still falls under that category though. I'm already going in for the giants variants (and still have a feeling that looking at the Swap Force Alter-Egos, Eye Brawl was possibly meant to cover Halloween). It's worse though that he is a chase variant, as it means no single packaging for this one.

Seriously? 80 bucks for the dark starters? i could have saved maybe 60 bucks right there FML....but it's more like 30 since the frito lay coupons won't be valid for black friday. seeing the regular ones for 49.99 and a white wii u for swap force bundle...tempting but not for 300 bucks. i'll just wait for the wash buckler to be released later thanks

gnarly tree rex bundle was worth it,I needed an extra controller $30,rex I would have paid $20 for just him,a copy of the game and portal for my wii $60 and I sold the blue Wii for $50 at gamestop. It was the best $100 Ive spent on gaming.

The bundles not bad if u want a Wii u and the game. If I hadn't gotten acwii u over the summer is def had gone for this.

$49.99 is a great price point for the Wii pack, but i wonder if that's for all versions? Friday only too blah.
I might still pick up the game before then, and then 3DS if walmart has it on sale for black friday

Totally getting this. I've wanted a Wii U for ages, I've just never had the time (and money) to get one. I was saving up all my cash for the figures and chase variants.
