A looks like Activision got it together every store is flooded with enough figures to last a long long time. I saw crowds and crowds of People since I've been up since midnight and not one person had a problem finding anything. Each store got between 8 to 10 pallets stacked to the ceiling of these and I live in a small town I can only imagine the larger cities stock. Heres to hoping every wave is as successful as this one. No more eBay for any of us unless you like variants like stone etc from the last wave. Hopefully the game will impress me as much as their stock has. Good luck to everyone but I'm sure you won't need it.

From my early adventures, it actually appears there's less stock than there was with Giants.

At my Toysrus, every that came out at midnight got all the figures that they wanted. They pulled extra lightcore boxes from the back for us, because there seemed to be a shortage of Smoderdash.

They've always done a good job with production. I only got into Skylanders last month and easily obtained every in-game variant for an average of about $10 a figure...except for Royal Double Trouble, whom I didn't bother with.

Yes loads of figures at my local toys r us, they even opened 20 minutes early for the 5 people in line! i was shocked that their wasnt a big line like last year, i think most people were unaware of or couldnt be bothered with the 8am opening.

Reposes and lightcores look light to me. The midnight launch actually wiped out most of the legendaries and lightcores at my TRU in Charlotte.

We ran out...if there were more than 6 of them I'll eat your hat. The local Targeted I visited today didn't have all of the reposes and missing a few lightcores including her.

Smoulderdash and Warnado seem to be the scarce ones. Star Strike also.

I hope Warnado is not scarce. I just noticed the paint on mine is awful. That will teach me to shop half asleep. Paint has chipped off at least half of the horns on his head.

They TRU we went to was loaded! Everybody got all they wanted. No scalpers there when we were there. Just parents with kids buying anywhere from 1 to 4 sets depending on number of kids and ways they collected. No big rush of rude people to the toys. It was calm, polite, helpful staff--great. Although some people were waiting around because they couldn't find the disney crystal figures. Skylanders was perfect.

As with everything...some locations probably got great help/stock, and some were ill prepared...and some just didn't do a darn thing. That pretty much covers the spectrum.

Exactly Ghost Roaster. Although its sounding like walmart was a big thumbs down. They were accommodating to me and my son but didn't have stock out all night even though there was a line.. and let people leave. They rolled out a 100% fully stocked display for us to choose what we wanted and then put it back in stock room. Weird

Yeah, just got back from my TRU, and they still have TONS of stock.Found a much better Warnado. Crisis averted!

Stellar service in Kingston Ontario from the EB Games on Gardners', the Toys R Us on Midland Ave, and the Target at the Cateroqui mall. Kingston Walmart did not have Enchanted Hoot Loop, but the staff were courteous and did check three areas to rule out all possibility of it being there. I'll check for EHL in town. All of the stores I went to today were well to extremely well stocked. A very pleasant experience.

Thoughts on EHL? My Walmart had only one box of them (12?). Nitro at Target seemed plentiful as did the Legendaries at TRU.

Katallina...have you thought of ordering online? Hope you find it.

I don't think the Canadian WalMart site has it listed. If I really need it I'll get my bf, who lives in PA, to get it for me. I ordered my collectors' guide and the Tower of Time set via Amazon.ca . We'll see how that goes.

Yeah, I took advantage of the free shipping during pre-orders on Saturday. Granted, I may not get it for two weeks... Oh, well, I am a sucker for free shipping.

The DI crystal figures weren't out at the midnight launch TRU I attended. I asked about them and a worker pulled them out for me. They were so focused on Swap Force that they hadn't stocked the DI figures.

Hopefully I do to et voted off the island for being off topic here--we're there new Infinity crystal figures released today? I'll be really upset if I was at TRU today and didn't even know about them!

I do not collect/play Infinity but my TRU had a ton of those too. They were pretty sweet looking.

I think this time around the supply might actually be better on the fact that most people will be looking for deals in buying the figures. Pretty much everyone had the same stock so unless there is a deal like target has or toys r us, you're best off just getting them from gamestop one at a time if necessary. I really feel everyone got smart on all the gimmicks so unless a rare figure is released there's going to be some full shelves for sometime.

If they're full shelves...Activision has themselves to blame.

1. Increasing lightcore prices (yes it's only $1/$2) but not increasing gameplay value. They're still crippled Series 1 with a neat glow effect.
2. Reposes with no additional features other than ridiculous wow pows (most of what I've read details that the powers are going to be difficult to leverage...so ... what's the point?)

New cores and swaplanders are the only ones justifying...the rest makes sense only if you don't have them. I'm sure their production counts reflect this somewhat.

Problem is, this time they've doubled the number of new characters...not sure we have enough content to justify them all.

I'm betting reposes or core guys are going to get price reductions very soon. Lightcores will actually sell better this time around b/c all of them are either new series 1 guys or reposed characters folks are hungry for.
