A thought occurred to me. Even though there is no real possible way to bring back the old school Spyro franchise since kids these are more familiar with the Spyro in Skylanders. How about a spin-off for the Spyro from Skylanders?

I can't be the only who might've thought of that, right? The spin-off could still be in the Skylanders universe but have the gameplay as a 3D platformer like the old Spyro titles with a few of the other Skylanders making cameos and some even having their own playable stages say for the likes of Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt and Tree Rex.

my idea
he cud find a portal to the classic worlds and switch from skylander look and game play to classic look and game play.or an over portal cud lead to LOS world. it make a grate 20 anniversary game

i totally like the plan in fact i too thoght of something of the sort. where its mostly spyro and cynder but with a few other things about the skylanders

Anyway, I think that would be a great idea! I haven't the money to purchase over-the-top consoles along with the expensive price on Skylanders, so I'd do a cheap Spyro spin-off any day. lol

That's why I thought for the hypothetical game to be a "spin-off." Spin-offs aren't obligated to take franchises into different directions or maintain certain fundamentals. Spin-offs are allowed to do experimentation that mainline titles can't and won't.
