Walmart is selling the Skylander Giants Display Bag pretty cheap right now. If your not picky about having to have the new Swap Force bag it would save you quite a bit of money for housing your new Swap force characters. You cant order it online, but all of my local stores have store pickup.

Is it a online only thing or would it be available in store?

I'm looking at it now, and ship to home is not available, but in-store pickup is. Have to call my boys and ask LOL

When I just went to order, it showed as being unavailable to order online, so it looks like it's a store-pick up thing only. Looks like they're clearing out space for Swap Force merchandise!

Yes. Its in store pickup only. I guess it all depends on where you live, we have about 4-5 walmarts in our area and most of them were showing they had them in stock. Definately a good deal i havent ever seen those bags that low, even now most of the stores are selling them $30.00 plus.

Yeah, that's a great deal! May have to grab a couple.

And oh, that one. I've never been terribly interested in that case because it seems like it can't store that many figures for the size. LOVE the square-ness of it, they'd stack nicely, and shelve together nicely.

I read this post last night and figured I would stop by after work today to pick up some (To hold my Swap Force). My Walmart had a lot in stock, but when I went to the register to buy them I was told that they do not match Walmart.com prices. I returned them and went to Customer Service to see if this was true or if the cashier didn't know what she was talking about. They told me the same story as the lady at the register.

I went home and visited Walmart.com to order "4" (Site 2 Store) Skylanders Giants cases. Within 30 minutes I got a text saying that they were ready for pick up.
I went straight there and got all ($12.14 each - Out the Door) of them for a great price. Now I don't have to worry where to store my Swap Force and also saved money to spend on the Characters instead of accessories for Swap Force.

I already have 1 that holds all my SSA (Target Version), and 2 that holds all my Giants (Walmart Version). I figured 3 cases would be enough to hold all SF characters but for that price I got 4 (Better safe than sorry) and will label (SF) them so I can tell them apart from the ones that are holding the Giants.

I recommend taking advantage of this sale (If you are in need of some sort of case) before they are gone, and so you have spending money for more SF characters than to worry about spending $40+ on a case. I got 4 cases for the price of one (When they originally came out, they were selling for $49.99).

They actually hold 32+ very nicely. If you arrange the shelves you can customize it that one could hold all your SSA characters. You would need 2 to hold All Giants.

And for the price you can get 4 cases that would hold ALL 96+ SF characters for less than $50. I can guarantee, you will not be able to find anything quite as nice for $50 that will hold ALL your SF.

If any one is interested I will take pictures of how my collections are stored.

I would like to see how these cases look with giants in them if you don't mind?

Before I bought 4 last night for SF, I already had 3 (1 for SSA and 2 for Giants):

As for the Posters: My son enjoys marking each character we get with a sticker we got from Walmart when Giants were released.

Well, I'm not moving on to Swap Force, so that's not a concern. Wow, I just realized that means I have about a week left on Dark Spyro before I'm irrelevant! *sigh*

And I have all of my Skylanders (except 9 Giants and one Sonic Boom I never unpacked for giggles) in one of those round-top bags. It's messy, but they fit.

The OP missed an apostrophe when writing "You can't order online", then you say you tried and failed to order online. Thus my conclusion.

Wow thanks for the pictures. I didn't know there were two different cover images of these cases. I'm very tempted to get a couple but with swap force coming i'm sure it'll take a lot more than a Couple of these cases to hold everything. Ill just stick with my big, clear, plastic Sterlite bin/tote. Sad news as they definitely look much better...

Yes, There is actually 3 versions. The one on the right (Jade Flashwing) came from Target (Exclusive).
Walmart also sold a 3rd version but never got my hands on it. It was there Exclusive with Molten Hot Dog, good luck trying to get that at walmart during this sale. Here is a link on EBay with it:

To carry your Swap Force you will need 3, maybe 4 of these. If your talking about carrying for all 3 games, it would take 6, maybe 5 or 4 if you don't mind them stuffed. As you can see in the pics above I have room to spare in the SSA case and a few areas in the Giants case to add some more figures.

I choose to keep them segregated into the different games. Another plus is that you can change the shelves to meet your needs, the case comes with a few extra dividers and shelves to do so.

So I would need one case alone just to fit the giants. Well I guess I'm going to pass on these as cool as they are, all money spent on these would be better off used on new figures. Thanks for the trouble and showing your collection

I had these cases but got rid of them to get the stanley's. The only problem is we currently have 16 of them laying around the house (8 mine, 8 his) and they do take up some space. We have them per an element, going see how well swap force fits into these.

Where are you going to find a case for $12 that will fit all of your Giants other than this case? You can remove all the shelves and fit all your Giants (Not just the BIG figures like Tree Rex) in one case, but if you want them nice and organized, you will need 2 cases for $24. Yes it is a much better deal but as I stated already, I have a huge long tote type case that holds all of my skylanders with loads of room to spare for swap force so I don't really need the cases.

Cool. I for one already had some for the first 2 games and with this deal I could not pass it up.

I've wanted this case for so long, but the price has been keeping me away. With a deal like this I had to jump on it.

Just ordered 2 of them. Seeing as how I don't get every figure from every game, I have a feeling that should hold most if not all of my collection and leave me some room for Swap Force.

Actually, OI ordered 3 for store pickup, and all 3 were the MHD version. I was actually hoping for at least 2 non-MHD, so I could try to swap the "regular" version out at Target for the JFW version.

I had able to order for store pick up last Sunday. Some store they have it, but some store will cancel your order due to out of stock.

Today, I had able to order online shipping to home.
