$40 extra is well worth as they will probably be selling for $40 each on ebay.

Yeah, I realized that afterwards, but it is annoying especially because my son will definitely want the dark versions.

I had to ask about sidekicks and the storeperson didn't really know much about the promotion (spend $25 on Skylanders to get 1 free sidekick) and his manager was out to lunch so he gave them to me anyway. I believe the sidekicks promo only includes spending on current store stock and doesnt include pre-orders... pretty much depends on which store member you ask.

U are so lucky sparx hope i can ask them to do the same thing as well in here ...

Has anybody seen the dark starter for the Wii U in Australia? EB Game still only have PS3, 360 and Wii versions online.

They haven't announced it on the Wii U yet for some unknown reason. No one can give me an answer! I am hoping they do, because that is the version I want! We use the game pad only play feature quite a lot. If the Wii U version of the Dark Forces doesn't come here, I will be very annoyed as it is only a reboxing with the figures, the game disc is the same. So I might try and find some one who wants a wii version of the standard game, and ask them to get the Wii U version and swap discs.

Now Big W also have the Polar Whirlwind preorder with Swap Force too, maybe save a few bucks buying from there.

So does that make everyone except target have a polarwhirlwind bonus when ordering swapforce starter pack?

Hi fellow portal masters on oz... Whats sort of plan have u got for day one swap force...? I'm planning to call in sickie to go to TRU and picking up dark starter at EB... Also depends whether EB can price match.. Might get my adv packs and battle packs from k mart... Any of u guys have any tips about how r u going for ur day one ...?

I just did a big trade in today and paid off my starters, I will be purchasing my figures at Kmart or Target as I have about 200 flybuys dollars. Plus I will be checking out TRU for legendary figures. I will also be keeping an eye out for variants as I haven't heard anything about Aus getting Enchanted hoot loop or Nitro Magna yet.

For Giants we got almost all the in game variants, don't forget most stores have very little of wave 1 on their websites.

Only Big W have anything substantial, the others barely have the starter packs up. Kmart and Dicksmith have nothing, and the rest are limited to starter packs.

Hopefully we will see some updates soon - particularly Toys'R'us.

I think we will get most of the in-game variants eventually, just at a much later time.
Legendaries are the only ones we seem to get around the same time as USA.

As far as Toys'R'Us goes, I don't think the will advertise skylander figures online due to the
problems they had last year with preorders. They probably will appear online roughly a week
or so after release.

Also with EB Games, the release dates of certain waves were changed, so I think they won't be
putting them online unless they are certain of release dates.

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing.
I really hope that some really good international options pop up soon. Collecting is fun, but eventually it just gets tiring.

Thankfully, I think there are only a couple of Skylanders and variants I'd be too impatient to wait for... Man, I REALLY hope we see Nitro on release day!

I didn't go the the EB Games expo this year but I heard rumours that the exclusive figure was
the Punch Pop Fizz single pack.

Also, Skylanders Swap Force storage containers are already in stock in some EB Games stores
before the website's October 16 release date.

All the Targets in my local area (Gold Coast) have the Swap Force displays up.

Also my closest Kmart has spared space for the Swap Force figures and already has price tags up.

TRU have put a catalogue up with legendary free ranger and starter pack for $99.99 but no price on the single price and no online orders

It will be likely that legendary free ranger will be separete because if learning anything from TRU sa and giants release they have done this with the first 3 pack and bouncer to get people to buy the starter pack there but I was able to buy both separate on release date if my local store had there stock out

Also anyone pick up the A to Z of Skylanders book with the Sidekick (16 at target)? Maybe worth it if you want Gill Grunt (AU exclusive) but the book annoyed me, I thought it would be more profile focused, and it does not even include swap force characters, other than one entry, pretty meh IMO.

Target Australia exclusivly have the nitro mega charge pack with free ranger or rattle shake for $32 in there next catalogue starting on the 17th, so keep an eye out on the 16th they maybe out then if not our swap force hunting may go for 2 days

As regards Enchanted Hoot Loop, I think he will be released around wave 2 in Australia
similar to how Granite Crusher was last year. But I do agree that he will probably be a Big W
exclusive.

There has been nothing on legendary grim creeper but it maybe worth checking your local store on Wednesday as they may not have advertised it because they done the samething with giants offered legendary bouncer and when I went to the store they had the 3 pack as well

As with enchanted hoot loop if not out on Wednesday as well like with granit crusher last year that was out like the week before Christmas, but if targets just announced nitro mega charge who knows and Big W next catalogue is out tomorrow so fingers crossed

And of course, they use regular Hoot Loop prominently on one of the little spots for SWAP Force. Groan.

Maybe Big W are holding off for the week before Christmas sale like granite crusher, and when I seen that spot I got excited and then realised it was the regular hoot loop it was a let down we will just have to settle for the regular hoot loop tomorrow

Lol kmart cant sell them no prices on them, urrrrrrgggg. Went to Big W no price match cos of Kmart has no price. So far loving the design of countdown and smolderdash.

On Ozbargain it says Kmart singles are $9, though until they actually scan or there is a catelog who knows.

I managed to get some from Kmart, but there were some issues. Such as scanners not being able to scan them.

The Nitro Magna Charge double pack was available from Target today at the same price. Also I only spotted
Legendary Free Ranger in Toys R Us. I don't think Legendary Grim Creeper will be available for a while
as I was told they are not expecting him for a while and is not on their website.

Stock is quite good in most stores.

I didn't have to many issues with my finding as I had the started packs pre ordered and was in to get characters when stores opened, the only real issue I faced was being in Target for its opening at 8am and them not having there stock out because the night staff that where ment to come in and do it didn't so the one guy in the sound department had to open all boxes to find what people wanted and I only wanted nitro mega charge, took 20mins+ to find.

Was lucky to get into Big W just after opening 8:30 because they had only recived 1box whick containded 6 of the battle and 6 adventure packs and I think I got the last one of each by the time I left the store. EB and JB had there stock out the only thing with EB was that they hadn't recived the strategy guide yet they where expecting them tomorrow and for once TRU had there stock out.

I didn't go to Kmart but I heard other people talk and they where saying that the 24hour Kmart had lost there entire shipment of swap force after updating there computer system last night so they where unable to sell them at midnight.

But I think if people where willing to travel a bit to find there stuff it wouldn't be to bad as we only have something like 1 Big W 1 TRU 2 Kmart 2 JB 3 Target 3 EB and 2 Harvey Norman all with a 30min drive

I got to Kmart at 0730 and also had the issue with scanning... what the hell kmart!! thankfully they were kind enough to put the prices through manually

Once 9am hit, I managed to scour Toy `R' Us for Legendary Free Ranger, and Chill (the chill sadly having a part opened box :/)

Onto target where i got the Nitro Magna Charge and Rattle shake double box, and then EB for Dark Edition, Polar wind and the battle/adventure packs. EB tried to offer me more figs but they're all just reposes, i'm not particularly interested.

I've also ordered Legendary LC Grim Reeper from Toys R Us america... i couldn't wait for that one!

I'm a bit miffed at lack of Enchanted Hoot Loop, as it's the only swap force character I don't have.
