So I must be one of the few luck ones who hasn't had their game wiped, but I did get the new Monday updates.

Sky Cadettes HQ - a house for female Skylanders, costs 200 Gems, takes 4 hours
Companion Batterson - allows you to get double the kudos from visiting friends, costs 200 Gems

Sky Cadettes HQ seems good, depending on the payouts. Companion for more kudos - meh! Maybe if the system gets fixed soon?!

Batterson seems worthless. I already don't visit much due to time and fails. Had they doubled the gift value, then maybe, and only when more kudos items are available.

You guys who did get the update what iOS are you using I think the data erase problem is with iOS 7

I've got iOS 7 on an iPod 5. I'm only on WiFi, no 4G, and I use Activate, not Facebook. Haven't had any save problems yet, but have had trouble visiting some people but not others. I'm wondering whether I have trouble visiting those with bad saves?

Maybe I have iOS 6 and am afraid to even play

If Batterson doubles the invitations, that should also double the amount of gems/wish stones from visiting as we'll since each invitation as a chance at either.

Correct. Batters on effectively doubles the kudos per visit by making 6 houses have an invitation rather than 3.

Glad this update hasn't caused too many additional problems. Disappointing that there are still so many of us that can't even enjoy the update since our save files are corrupted.

Honestly, I've had issues with apps in the past, and publishers have always been quick to fix. It amazes me that a large company like Activision can't fix a few mistakes they created. In fact, most publishers I've dealt with have compensated for issues with in-game currency as an apology. I get the feeling Activision won't do that, especially since my save file cannot even be fixed in a week's time.

Why does new content roll out when there are looming huge issues with the old content?

I have an iphone 5 with IOS7 and ipad2 with IOS7 too. I had problems with the saved game on the iphone. After many attempts, today I recovered a recent game in the iphone, but now I can't play the same game in iphone and ipad.
So, I have the same friends (and the same disappeared friends) in both, but I can't pass heading from iphone to ipad and vice versa.

Updating..... wel... but has not fixed the problems that all of we have this week

I just saw "the Super tuesday" , it's cool: a chest safe with each group of sheeps, trolls and chompies. I have Capybara king !!!

also batterson seems like a waste of 200 gems unless you visit people a lot and desperately need kudos

I'm a fan. If it produces the same payouts as other houses and costs 150 gems less, it seems like a no-brainer...

Also, my daughter would love this. At seven years old, she's already keenly aware that there are only like 8 female skylanders and a zillion male ones.

As someone who buys Skylanders toys for my kids (not for me, of course....) I am keenly aware that the few female skylanders they make (with the exception of Ninjini) don't seem to sell very well (or at least, they're usually the only ones I can find reliably at the local target).

So I'm also a fan of female centric characters, houses, etc. for my daughter's sake.

Interesting... Just collected from the Cadettes HQ. Gave me 2 gems AND ~2k XP. Maybe it was a fluke or I hit two things at once (don't think so), but will find out in another 4 hrs.

Dragon Lairs do the same thing where for the first payout they give you max gems and another payout. Sounds like this is working the same way.

They also added a timed quest for Capybara, own him and open 15 chests rewards a radiant energy field. That and the super Tuesday tomorrow got me to pull the trigger

If 2 gems is the max gems that's not entirely awesome...

It's also not entirely terrible. 200 gems to turn a reg skylander into a 10 gem a week + 200,000 gold a week producer is not unreasonable.

It's very much an economy version of the Alter Ego/Giant houses. Probably a better purchase for newer players who don't have access to all of the other premium houses.

The payout on the house is really pretty bad. So far, 2 gems and ~850 energy. Not sure how you estimate it will produce 200k gold a week. It appears we are getting far less than half the payout for a house that cost more than half of a real house.

It appears you can buy more than 1 but don't know why anyone would do that.

I'm still waiting for the "awesomeness" of the chompy changes. I am officially 0/11 in getting a gem from a pod. That pretty much excludes the possibility that the gem payout is 50% or or 25%. Not sure what is going on with the people that report getting a gem "all the time" or "most of them time".

Charred, on the chompy changes it's funny--before I got my first mini, almost every time I logged in there would be a chompy pod there that I could do nothing about (but clean up the mess it would leave behind). Now that I got my first mini, I almost never see chompy pods at all...

If Batteron also doubled the rewards from the regular friend gifts, I would probably buy him. As it is, visits are slow when they work, and buggy on top of that.

Initially I got gems from chompy pods from the time of the update until the announcement about the change. I've gotten maybe one since then.

I accidentaly bought batterson, and I can tell you i 'd rather had my gems saved up for quigley then that i had bought him!
