Imagine if you will, a paralell universe. In this universe, Nintendo and Sony's partnership (It was breif, and that quarrell became the Playstation) Never ended. So we have all the Sony IP's like Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Sackboy, with Mario and other nintendo guys. Would you buy a crossover fighter?

Why not? Oh yes, and in this universe, Insomniac and Naughty Dog were very close with Nintendo. When Activision offered to take Spyro and Crash from them, each respectively, Nintendo strongly advised against it. This led to more hardcore Spyro and Crash games, and ultimately making the Skylanders games cease to exist. To sum it up, Crash and Spyro are Nintendo Characters in this paralell universe. And, the combination of Sony and Nintendo were so strong Microsoft only made the Xbox, thus leading to Nintendo having Rareware. So basically Nintendo/Sony/Rareware/Insomniac/Naughty Dog/Media Molecule/Retro/Whatever other Teams are close to Nintendo and Sony being the only console, thus having lots of characters from the above franchises in a Smash Bros of epic proportions. Also, Steve Jobs never died, cause yknkw, he was awesome.

This. Yeah, I'd pay for that, but does it play like Smash Bros. or Playstation All-stars? Also, why not an Xbox Fighter?

^Microsoft hardly have any exclusive IPs right now. Let alone ones that could be put into a fighter (unless you count newer Xbox One games, but EVEN then, it's not much, plus those characters aren't well loved as their games have not come out yet).

And most of the characters in that picture are not exclusive to Microsoft in the slightest. Conker and Banjo-Kazooie are associated with Nintendo, for one thing (Live and Reloaded was merely a remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day, which was on the N64. Plus, fans didn't appreciate the remake as much as the original, as it was heavily censored. And Banjo & Kazooie were actually considered for the original Smash Bros. Yeah, they may belong with Microsoft now, but do you see them doing anything with the IP?). And even if there is a game represented in that picture that was developed for the Xbox 360, that doesn't necessarily mean it's got to do with Microsoft, or that they represent Microsoft. Blue Dragon is an example of that. The PS3 simply wasn't around at the time of that game's completion. Considering how big it is, and how it required multiple discs, I can assure you they would of put that on PS3 if it were out at the time, especially since JRPGs are not something the Xbox consumer base care for. Plus, the game got a sequel on the DS anyway.

I wasn't saying that these guys were gonna be in it, I just thought that this would basically be the Premise of an Xbox Fighter. Only games I could see for it would be Gears of War, Halo, Deadrising, Fable, Some good XBLA arcade games that first came out or are exclusive to Xbox, and maybe some other Third Party characters could be in like in PS AllStars.

Anyway, back to the topic of a SSB/PS crossover, what gameplay and story elements would you like to see from each? Personally I would like to see SSB's Classic Mode become PS AllStars Arcade Mode, with each character having their own story, ending, and rival, while at the same time also having a story mode like The Subspace Emissary.
