Minecraft problem. I need help so badly. [CLOSED]

Well yesterday two Minecraft servers stopped working for some reason. I wasn't sure why they wouldn't work when Minecraft suddenly crashed. It came to the menu when you load the game but I exited that and ran it again. It seemed to load normally but when I went to the servers it said in red "1.6.2". I was confused a lot since that is the Minecraft I have but when I looked at the corner of Minecraft it said "1.6.4" As soon as I saw that I was terrified of what I did. I didn't go back on until today and it says the same. I need help so much because my parents might get angry that I destroyed my Minecraft. Please help me!!

I'm guessing 1.6.4 is an Server release.

Meaning you don't have to do anything to update it, so it updated without you knowing.

No. All the servers say 1.6.2 but my Minecraft is called 1.6.4

Once I moved my servers out of the .minecraft folder... I thought I lost them X3
