Magic triple pack must be a temporary exclusive given Only at Wal Mart notation. Someone please confirm.

Also, a bundle really isn't anything to speak of. Exclusive variants is another matter. But one that doesn't concern me. Glad to see outside of Dark there's been no other starter pack bundling. Cause no one is going to bother with buying the same starter pack 5x over to get an exclusive character lol (worked for Giants, glad they haven't tried it again so far).

Regular. Lightcores don't come in triples, but Grim Creeper is a LC. This appears to be a good deal, although you almost certainly get a LC Hex with it. I wonder if the Lightcore Hex offer can be combined with this promotion or not? If so, that would be fantastic, especially if you're a newcomer to the franchise (which would avoid the duplication of Spyro and Pop Fizz in your collection).

So I would assume that Starter Super Pack is going to be released on 10/13, but it says ship on 11/5, even though it is in store only. I can't see them waiting to release this later. That would be a big mistake. Most people would not want to wait another month.

Also, didn't another store have a super pack for either SSA or SG? It was all in one big box I thought. Just thinking this would be packaged the same way, so just grab your box and go and it has everything in it.

It's not out until November I believe but luckily the Frito Lay coupons don't expire until 11/30. I *may* make this the deal I end up getting just because GS won't accept the coupons. If my son really wants the dark dudes we can risk it aftermarket or 2nd hand and let someone else take the hit.

I'll also take a shot in the dark and say that the Magic Triple Pack is exclusive to Wal-Mart in the same way that the Lightcore Triple Pack was exclusive to Target. They're figures you can get elsewhere but only at this particular retailer can you get them packaged this way.

And since this triple pack contains a figure from each of the two Wave 1 triple packs the price to get everything one Day 1 comes out to about the same.

This is great news screw GameStop this is a better deal and they take the coupon. It's a win win situation was going to walmart at midnight anyways that closed the deal dark versions are cool and all but not worth it to me

Walmart.com says that this exclusive super pack has release date 11/05/2013 and available in store only.

It's a good deal for day 1. Thou I'm going to pass. Going to wait for a sale on stuff and get the regular when it drops to 40 by summer, as I'm getting the dark edition. Now if the dark guys are coming solo later I'd pass on gamestop.

^I would think that too given Gnarly and Punch repackaging but GS clearly states "Exclusive" so I think not.

I could be wrong, but it doesn't appear that Wal-Mart is offering this Super Pack as an online pre-order at all. It appears to be more like an advertisement or placeholder, letting consumers know that it will be available in actual brick-and-mortar Wal-Marts when the game launches. Doesn't sound like it will be limited quantities though ... if you're choosing Wal-Mart as your release day retailer, then I'm feeling confident that this Super Pack will be in-stock when you go to the store on 10-13-13.

The Enchanted Hoot Loop, however, IS available for online pre-order, though, with free shipping to boot. Nice.

I still can't figure out if this super pack is going to be available on SF release day. It says available on 11/5, but it seems like a big mistake to wait until almost a month after SF release to then release this super pack. Alot of people will already have bought the game. Seems like they would loose alot of money by waiting.

That set might be geared more towards the christmas shopping season. I think they figure by now whoever wanted swap force pre-ordered it.

Anyways, i preordered the enchanted hoop, passing on the triple because it lacks free shipping.

That's totally in line with how Acti released Wave 2 in Giants. Looks too legit to quit.

You basically get Light Core Grim Creeper for free. Not sure if Hex is included.
The TRU deal could be better in the long run (getting a free core Character and Hex for free) if they run the same deal as they did last year on release date: BOGO 40% off. You could buy the Triple pack and get another TP or Adventure Pack for 40% off. Roughly another $10 savings.

After further research, this is not a good deal. If you get this, the other triple packs (A, B, C) would not save you $$$ in the long run.

I'm sorry, but can you guys elaborate on a few things that appear to have escaped me in other posts?

1. Frito-Lay coupon for $10? Is this with the new Fright Rider promotion? It isn't with the Sidekicks one, is it?

2. Extra core figure of your choice from TRU with purchase of a starter? I also did not see this when I recently pre-ordered (during the 20% coupon promotion running from 9/19-9/21). I thought it was just Hex.
