This is the first time I hear that from an American. Mostly everybody else is running away to America, though in our case, it would mostly be Canada, UK and Germany.

Government and basic education is horrible here. I think I'll just move with my friend to Japan when she does. She's going there for anime.

Oh yes, the education really sucks in America. Over here it sucks as well, but on a completely different level. We get too many things to learn, far, far more things in primary school than any American gets through both primary and high school (or college, whatever you call it). Since we go into so many details in all areas. High school is even worse, especially gymnasium. I used to go there, too demanding, couldn't handle the stress. Now I'm forced to go to economic school just so I can finish something, then when I'm done I'm moving out to UK. Because this country is going down...

America has extremely easy courses. You don't have to know much to get far. I guess that's good and bad. One teacher treats my class like a bunch of fourth graders. >.>

@S-F - I cannot blame you. I mean I may be American, but honestly I think half of our society here today is on 500 pounds of crack. If I were to move anywhere it would most likely be Canada.

Though, I must ask, do you guys even learn about stuff outside America? I heard you folks are absolutely clueless of Europe, as in where is which country, or what countries do even exist there. I guess it'd be silly to not know that... however I have a feeling you guys only learn about America and some parts of Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries close to those, because of obvious reasons.
And urgh, I know that feel. Only idiots go to this economic school and I'm a freaking intellectual, not a business man. Professors treats us as if we're still in primary school, because 99% of students are so primitive and conservative. I can't wait to get out...

EDIT: I have a feeling that people prefer Canada because of free health insurance, or... whatever, I have no idea. I just know my best friend has moved to Canada and she likes it much better than USA.

Not really. We learn about our country, and some others like Iraq... Nothing else really. I guess we did a bit on Australia, but not much.

Well actually Spyro-Fan we do learn about other countries History and such. I even learned from friends that New Zea Landers do not like being mistaken for Australians. Or even British dislike being mistaken for Australian.

We literally have to know absolutely everything about other countries. Where are they, what's their capital, what's their largest city, the economy state in them, their rivers, their presidents, prime ministers, mountains, hills, national parks, every sea, every channel. Everything. I hated naming all Russian rivers in one of my exams, it was a paaaaaain. But I'd say that I know the least about Africa. I know the countries in there but I wouldn't know to show them on a blank map. XP

Yeah. Also we learn depending on what text book, teacher, basically the school has to offer. We even have online schools that can teach us another language. The normal secondary language we get (or at least as far as I know) is Spanish. I do not wish to learn that language, mainly because I want to go to the Countries that I am a part of in my blood line. Like France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Hungary, & etc.

Oh, right. We're just now getting these online lessons and tablets are slowly replacing our notebooks and books, but of course that's only happening in our capital, my school can barely afford a field trip, let alone an iPad.
And we must learn English for 12 years, plus 4~6 more years if you decide to go to university. 4 years of German, or 8 years of German, depending if you took your lessons back in primary school, and 2 years of Latin. There are other languages you can take too, some older schools even have Greek. On the seaside you must know English and Italian because during summer, we have more flippin' tourists than country's original citizens lol. XP

Nice one. I am currently regretting for not buying Darkrai's female Ridgeback. She'd be perfect for my Assassin's Creed project. I am trying to make some AC-themed dragons, and for now I only tested the looks of one multiplayer character, the Doctor, on my random Ridgeback Zharia. I think it looks good enough?
