I just got back from Kroger (yeah I'm there almost everyday because I'm a mom lol) and they had a HUGE display of of the specially marked Frito Lay multipacks in boxes with the Skylander sweepstakes logo.

That would stink if it's just a regular Fright Rider, because they don't state in the rules that it's special.

On the game card it does specify a "special edition Fright Rider" so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he looks like the advertisement. I should have him in 8-10 weeks but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he gets here sooner.

How long will this be going on for?

I've been to 10 different stores in 3 days, (Target, Wal Mart, Dominicks, Jewel, and Meijer varieties). Every single one has NOT had the Frito Lays Fright Rider packages.

All I've seen is the Side Kicks packages, and today I saw a special Halloween Frito Lay packages, but that was just for glow in the dark bags of chips.

So far it seems like EVERYBODY won, everybody who tries entering a code, that is, LOL! Many, many reports in a thread in the Toys & Merchandise forum. Some people - including myself - have actually started getting curious if there's anybody who DIDN'T win. Since I can't enter, I have to show my interest vicariously through others.

Ok guys. I've been silently participating in this conversation. First, ease up on the kid. iPhones can fill up. I don't think he was trying to maliciously deceive us! Also, grammar matters. It doesn't have to be perfect. But, try a little. It will help you when you apply for jobs, school, etc.

This is not why I'm here.

I've done extensive research in to the frito lay craze lately. (I also realize MY grammar isn't perfect. But I try!)

The fright rider bags are out there. Not many left. I've only seen them in Kroger stores. Nowhere else. I've visited Walmart, food city, food lion, dollar general, and a local Grocer. No luck except Kroger. ALSO, Everyone seems to win. I've won two. Out of two! There are zero pictures online of this actual figure. Even the ebay goons only have screen shots of winning. One seller even claims to have won 4 weeks ago, yet they haven't delivered. When I bought my sidekicks, frito lay delivered in 2 weeks. I'm beginning to worry if it isn't some huge mistake similar to the psvita $5 Taco Bell box contest fiasco. But I will let you know if I ever get a figure in hand.

Starting next month Walmart will have the glow in the dark rattle shake contest bags. We shall see if the code is inside or out. I'll also post if there is validity to this when proof is in hand.

Remember, these contests seem to only involve the largest bag of small bags of chips. No boxes. No smaller single bags.

I'm finished. I think I covered everything I know so far.

Found the Rattle Shake bags at Weis grocery store, finally! The code is indeed out, if I'm looking at the right one, but can't find out until the website is up, which I believe is rumored to be in Nov. Got a tip the Fright Rider bags were being found in my area at Toys R Us, and can't wait to check tomorrow! I'm in PA, for those who are interested!

Codes are on the OUTSIDE of classic and flavor big bags. The codes on all flavor a I've seen are the same. Codes on classic are the same. But the two codes are different. So no need to purchase anything!
