I know of the costume in question, as I also came across it in the challenges. I did a bit of research on a particular Rayman forum that I have been lurking on lately, and it turns out that the costume in question is known as "UbiRay" (people who were searching through the games assets found the sprite being officially named as such within them).

The costume is essentially just a recoloured Rayman, using only purple and white, and instead of the usual white ring on his hoodie, he has the Ubisoft logo.

A Rayman Legends player on PSN came across a ghost with this skin and sent a friend request to the player using the skin. Upon being accepted, they asked how the skin is obtained.

As most people predicted, it turns out that the skin is exclusive to the game's staff. So when you are facing a UbiRay ghost, you know you are competing against a staff ghost.

Needless to say, unless you played some part in this game's production, you won't be getting that skin.

I just picked up this game today for the 'Wii U'. First thoughts? God damn Ubisoft, you know how make a damn decent sidescroller. :3 Although I haven't played a hell of alot of the game yet, I can easily say it's one of the best sidescrollers in the last couple of years, rivaling 'Kirby's Adventure Wii' as one of my favorites. The music is awesome, the art style is gorgeous, the gamepad gimmicks work somewhat well, and the characters seems really awesome so far! (Although I've only played as Rayman and Barbara so far) Speaking of characters... is it like a theme in Rayman games from now on for all the girls to be really... uh... busty? ._. I mean just look at the nymphs from Origins... geez. I do have a small complaint however... the Murphy stages aren't very fun... at all, at least for me anyway. It seems a bit bland, repetitive, monotonous. Eh, they may get better as the game goes on I suppose. So yeah, really enjoying the game so far and I look forward to finding out what else it has in store.

EDIT: Just collected all 700 teensies. Now for the gold trophies!
After pretty much finishing the game, I can say it's easily one of the best modern platformers I've ever played.
