Walmart, exit 60 on I85 had Slam Bam when I got a S2 Drobot a couple weeks back. Don't recall Bash, but wasn't looking for him.

Same here. I'm guessing by the end of summer we'll finally get the last two 3 packs and their associated singles.

Small update ... nothing grand, sadly.

Yesterday, Rivergate (Steele Creek) Target .... crap. Cynder, Whirlwind, Stump Smash, Swarm, Drill Sergeant, Flashwing. They did have a couple of Scorpion Striker packs (Hot Dog / Zap) if anyone is seeking those.
The Books-A-Million next door has apparently stopped re-stocking Skylanders at this point. They just had the remnants of the same supply that's been there for the past few months (Cannon Pack, Swarm, Chill).

At this point, it really seems like only WalMart and TRU are still routinely getting new merchandise on the shelves in Charlotte. Target, GameStop, Best Buy, BJ's, and others are seemingly taking a break from Skylanders locally for the time being.

^Agreed...that seems to be my consensus as well.

Found a few bags of the Skylanders Chips for the Giantkicks at SAMs yesterday, but my wife said there was only 2 or so when she left. If they are on the shelf, they don't stay there long.

Quick follow-up on my last post.
Was at another Target today (South Blvd.) and their stock was essentially the same (Cynder, Flashwing, Whirlwind, Stump Smash .... and a WHOLE lotta Swarm).
They did have one Series 2 Eruptor and one Sunburn/Dragon's Peak pack, if anyone locally is looking for those.

I really feel badly for anyone who has been trying to get into Skylanders over the past 2-ish months ... the selection at most retailers has been foul.

All the Target stores continue to leave their Granite Crusher advertisements/displays and Jade Flashwing ceiling hangers prominently displayed ... and yet they all seem to have only mostly Swarm and (regular) Flashwing. Sadly, at this point, they're just keeping the shelves warm for the Swap Force generation. It's always a fluid situation (somewhat), but if you're hunting for Skylanders in CLT over the Summer, it looks like TRU and WalMart are your bet bets for now. I'm quite sure the others (Target, Best Buy, etc.) will ramp back up in October.

Quick update for the locals: Harris Teeter stores are stocking the bag-o'-chips required for the Giant Sidekicks today ... and they are on sale.

Anyone got any info on Concord Mills and/or e surrounding area, might be heading there later this week.

Yep, they have been on sale the past couple weeks. Some stores have been slow on stocking them, but the one near me has been keeping them on the shelves regularly since before the entry started.

And Walmart at Concord Mills isn't bad on stock, but they had more stuff a week ago. Was in there tonight and didn't see anything really interesting until I was walking out and saw someone stashed a Series 2 Drobot in the a Dreamworks DVD display. It wasn't hidden, just set on the cardboard stand up with them - probably a kid that got told "No" so they just set it down. I would have put it back with the others but was in a bit of a hurry. They did have lots of figures though and a decent variety - but no Bash or Slam Bam if you are wondering, I looked out of curiosity.

Quick update from today's outing:

Toys R Us in Pineville received a new small shipment of Legendary Lightcore Chill. If you missed out on her the first time she was in stores, you should hit up TRU on Friday morning; they had 5 left on the shelf. Also had a dozen Ninjinis. If you've struggled to find a Ninjini locally, she's there now.

Here's an update for Concord Mills and the surrounding area.
Best Buy at Afton Ridge-Swarms,Crushers,Thumpback, and Eye Brawl nothing special, although however they did have some Light Core Jet Vacs
Target at Afton Ridge-Mostly wave 1 and wave 2. Several LC Shroom Booms.
Toys R Us across from Concord Mills-Legendary Light Core Chills, all the giants, no other legendary a though
GameStop at the mills-Hot Head, Thumpback, and some wave 1 junk, with plenty of Flashwings
Best Buy at the mills-Same as the other Best Buy but this one had some Fright Riders

So yeah, nothin much, I did get me an LLC (Legendary Light Core Chill)

Today's report:

Visited several Charlotte Wal-Marts ... Wilkinson Blvd, South Tryon, Indian Land (SC), and Arboretum ... most were poorly stocked, with the exception of the South Tryon location. If you're looking for Skylanders in South Charlotte tonight/tomorrow, I'd go with the South Tryon Wal-Mart.

KMart and Best Buy in Pineville had very little stock; really bad. Both stores have been terrible with stocking for over a month now.

There was apparently some sort of fire or gas leak or something at the Pineville Toys R Us this afternoon. When I pulled into the parking lot, there were Pineville police and fire vehicles all over the parking lot, and the front door of TRU was wide open, but with a yellow "Police Line Do Not Cross" tape across the doorway. Obviously, I didn't get to check what they had in-stock.

My report from yesterday (7/31/13):

Pineville TRU was heavily stocked with all the Giants, including Ninjini, Bouncer, Hot Head, Eye Brawl, etc.
I've never seen so many in the same display at the same time, anywhere.

Oddly, they have a really, really paltry display of the regular-size Series 2 characters. There was a few Shroomboom, LC Jet-Vac, Flashwing, Whirlwind, Cynder, 1 Double Trouble, and that's really it. Weird that they were so heavily stocked with Giants and yet had such a pathetic display of regular-size figures.

There were no Gnarly Tree Rex, no "blurple" variants.
My Giants sidekicks have not arrived in the mail yet.

Don't worry; I live in NJ, and 2 Sidekicks arrived today.
Expect them today or tomorrow.

Seems they got a large shipment of Scorpion Striker Battle packs (Hot Dog, S2 Zap) in, too.

They had some random S1 characters too (Whirlwind, Double Trouble, Drobot, Ignitor, Flameslinger) and those are on-sale 2-for-$15.

For whatever reason, TRU seems to continue to have an ongoing supply of S1 Warnado/Ignitor/Camo triple-packs ... and yet no other S1 triple packs.

I got lazy and ordered my Gnarly at Gamestop.

The new Wal Mart in Huntersville has a good number of Eruptor and Prism Break triple packs, and they did have one S2 Drobot as well as a decent array of S1 characters including Voodood, Ignitor, Double Trouble, Flameslinger, etc. Same stuff I see TRU carry. I went into Best Buy and laughed...they are literally bone dry now.

Quick update from some light hunting I did while grocery shopping this morning. Two Wal-Marts and one Target had basically nothing to be excited about for Skylanders. I did not see any Darklight Crypt packs, and the pegs/shelves were only slightly less empty and dull as they have been for the past 2-3 months. There may indeed be a re-stock/supply on its way, but if so, it hasn't hit Charlotte yet, at least as of this morning.

Today I noticed that the WalMart in the Arboretum has placed the original Spyro's Adventure 3DS starter pack (with Dark Spyro) on clearance for $20.00.
They have about 6 of them in a special "clearance" shelf area in the electronics section, if you're interested.

Yeah it is nice having people around telling you where they find there skylanders. It was also nice being one of three people in line waiting though. Looking forward to bumping into people that enjoys collectimg these as much as I do.

Small report from today's outing:

Best Buy at Blakeney had the most pathetic array of Skylanders I've seen anywhere at any point in 2013.
I know a couple reports have trickled into DarkSpyro saying the Wave 2 Giants have been sighted and thought to be being "re-stocked" at Best Buy stores ... but I sure as heck ain't seeing that locally in Charlotte.

Aye, it seems the Charlotte area was among the last to receive these shipments this time. They've been popping-up in places to our North, South, and West for about a week before making an appearance here.

As an aside, my most recent "hunt" was yesterday at the GameStop next to BT's burger joint in the Promenade. Their display of Skylanders was pathetic. Nothing "new" about that really ... just ongoing confirmation that local retailers in the Charlotte area are doing very minimal re-stocking of Skylanders, in general, which is consistent with the past 3-4 months.

Nothing in gastonia, maybe ill have better luck tomorrow. Im not relying on my sears shipment

Cool thanks for info. Won't be back in town until end of week maybe I can find a local site for me to pick one up for my family. I ordered online for my "stay in box" set.

Has anyone found the new bags of chips yet for the pumpkin fright rider? I have flocked stump smash from last time and would like to add this to my collection without paying a lot on ebay.
