I bought Pumpkin Eye Brawl in WalMart today in the evening (Tracy, California). A few GameStop in my area didn't have Pumpkin today and they are not sure when they receive it.

So check your other retail stores - it is not timed exclusive to GameStop only.

I think you could have just used that post you already had in the original Pumpkin Eye-Brawl thread .-.

I thought that new topic is easier way for more people get the news than digging into GameStop-related topic. If this is against rules - I'm sorry, moderators can close or delete this topic.

It really doesn't matter what you post, somebody will tell you not to post it. Making a separate topic about a different store IS a better way to get the news out there.

It's not against the rules, but clutters up the subforum here with new topics, causing important ones to be moved to older pages.

There are topics on the first page where the newest post is more than a week old, there is no clutter on this forum because everybody gets told not to make new topics. It's really annoying, everybody thinks they're the forum police.

And if a topic is really important, it should be stickied. If it's simply a popular one or a useful one, that will dictated by it garnering responses that keep it near the top, usually. I'm curious what important topics are being pushed out of the front page in this case?

IMO, a new figure being found in a US store for the first time deserves a new topic. I tend to stay away from opinion and speculation topics if i can (not easy here). This DS user thanks you for the info.

Seriously thread, people need to chill out about these things. People get excited and post a topic to emphasize things from time to time. If it gets out of hand the Hunters take care of it. Topics meander off topic from time to time, but if they go crazy, the Hunters also take care of that. Forums that are sterile and strictly on topic are boring, and typically ghost towns.

I'm all for having a separate thread for some things and have fought for them in other forums (mainly forums with store specific threads where someone posts an new thread for an individual sale), but it has gotten ridiculous with all the Pumpkin Eye-Brawl threads. We already have one where people are posting where they are finding it. Why have another one? There's nothing specific about the other forum that says GameStop or Canada or anything else. That just happens to be where they are finding them. In fact, there was a post about finding one in TRU. If everyone starts a new thread every time they found something, this board would get crazy. Why couldn't he post in the other thread? Why go through all the trouble only to make people click on different threads to keep up with where people are finding them? I now have to check both threads to keep up with the conversation (or more threads if they get created). It's not about being "forum police" but informing people that they could have easily posted in the other thread to help make things a little easier and cleaner.

My Wal-Mart didn't have Pumpkin Eye-Brawl, but it did have a whole lot of ripped open Skylanders packages with the cards stolen. Figures left, cards gone.

Pretty cool that its showing up at other stores though. I'll have to go looking. If its in Cali right now it'll probably be a day or two before east coasters will see him.

At Walmart? Probably a week. Walmart ships almost everything by their own trucks, especially non-time sensitive things (which these are not time sensitive). It takes a good week to get over here after popping up on the West Coast. Then you have to deal with whether the employees deem the Skylanders shelves to be empty enough to need restocking.

While your time estimate is probably pretty close, this is an incorrect statement - unless Walmart has recently purchased UPS and FedEx. Many things (including almost all Skylanders shipments) arrive via "Direct Store Delivery" on FedEx/UPS trucks.

California - Don't forget to use your Frito Lay coupon and stick it to Game Stop. Using the coupon, you will save $2 since GS is charging $15.99 instead of the normal price of $14.99.

What else can you use the coupon for other than getting duplicates. Might as well get use out of them (coupons) and since GS does not honor them, I see them having a lot in stock especially since they are charging $15.99 instead of $14.99 with no discount. Keep spreading the word and maybe by the time Swap Force is released they (Game Stop) will decide to honor the SF coupon from Frito Lay.

I can see Picket signs out side of GS right now.. Oh wait I just woke up.

Found him without even really looking in a Dallas area Walmart. Had a bunch of them. The figure looks a lot cooler in person than I thought, and my son is batty for the way it lights up. Good job, Activision. This sure beats the typical monochromatic "specials."

I gave up on GameStop and went to Walmart. Their skylanders area was almost wiped out so I assumed either they had them and people bought them all or that they moved the skylanders to another location. So I started wandering around looking for another display and I found two girls putting out boxes of new stock over by the DVDs. There at the bottom of the stack were two boxes of pumpkin eye brawl. They looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I wanted what was in those boxes. But they dug them out anyway! I am in Michigan.

That may be true, I've never stalked a shipment at Walmart, just going by what the employees told me. While I would never trust them on new releases and such (not blaming them, they simply don't get fed the info), I assumed they knew about how the figures got shipped into the store. One told me they always get them in on their trucks and told me the days those arrive. I thought if it was UPS/Fedex it would not be tied to a day of the week. Eh, neither here nor there, the store I go to most often near work half the time doesn't even put them out when they come in.

saw 8 at my local wal mart.

Wife went to walmart here in NY and saw 11 on the shelf today and bought our set. Was a nice surpise to see when i just got home as I started my new 2nd job today
