Has anyone seen a S2 Bash lately (other than in the triple pack w/ S2 Spyro and Hot dog, which I already have both of, so I refuse to buy the 3pack)?

I have never seen him in person, in or out of packaging.

S2 Bash is starting to get rare.... i havent seen him in a long time now...

I saw S2 Bash... back in Wave 1 of Giants... I passed him up and can't seem to find him anymore. Same goes for S2 Slam Bam. Those are the last two I need for all 99 too... Well that and to pick up my pre-orders for LC Hex... I might just resort to Ebay for one, if not both of them...

My friend got S2 slam bam at Toys 'R' Us 5 days ago.

I saw S2 like over 2 months ago.

Was bash wave 1 or 2? I thought wave 2. BJ wholesale had tons of leftover wave 1 stuff. Never seen bash in any of them. I got my bash from jcpenny's clearance. Saw him again like 2 months ago he poped up with flameslinger for like a week. TRU and target had a few then BAM he went away again.


Maybe you can find someone that wants/needs spyro and hotdog? or maybe ebay them? Thou Idk how well hotdog will sell lol.

He may return with triple 8 and 9, but who knows if that is true and if those are even showing up anymore.

I had to resort to eBay for mine - I finally bit the bullet about a week ago. Still, I figure that one eBayed figure per game (Wham-Shell for SSA) isn't a bad miss ratio.

(Still trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a standard S1 Bash, as all I have is the blue one...)

There are a few loose ones on eBay, and a few cheaper ones.

He came out here in Canada with a flurry of Flameslingers and Drill Sergeants a couple months back. I grabbed one because I really like him but I ended up with another from Activision.

why does Toy Wiz have him for pre sale with a ship date of august?

maybe s2 bash will become the new boomer in rarity.... best to buy it if you can now...

I have seen him a lot lately... Along with slam bam! Kennewick Wa

I have looked for him since christmas (before then, I thought they retired both Bash AND Dino-Rang. Funny how unintelligent I was back then), and I still haven't seen him, even online. Best Buy, Toys 'R' Us, Walmart, Target all have him sold out online and in stores. Where else should I look? The lowest price for him on amazon is $32!

Either way, that's VERY deceiving.

I'll keep an eye out for bash and report if i see one. Thou i can only really help if in the states.

It's been really, really rare to find Series 2 Bash in stores in the USA at any point after roughly February of this year.
He was shipped in early "waves" only (during the last quarter of 2012) and was apparently very popular as a Christmas gift, because he ain't been seen much since then.

There's hope that Bash will be re-stocked in concert with the Triple Pack that features Bash ... but who knows when that will be?

Saw 1 in best buy last week.

I saw one at Best Buy the day before Disney Infinity was released

I still need one of these guys.

I hope he resurfaces soon or I'm gonna have to resort to amazon or eBay prices

Check Radioshack.com if you are in the states, they have skylanders and shipping is meh but probably less than EBAY when all said and done.

Did not know that RadioShack sells Skylanders, do they sell them in the stores or is it just online?

Looks like just online, I found it the other day while looking for something. He is not in stock right now but it might be worth checking out.

My daughter and I have also been looking for S2 Bash for several months. I saw one at Toys R Us when Giants was fist released and passed on getting him. I haven't seen one since. Nor have I seen any available online except from sellers on eBay and Amazon asking several times retail. I just got off the phone with Will at Activison customer service, and he checked and told me that Bash has not been discontinued. I don't understand why they would make a character so hard to find. The variants I understand being rare but not a regular character. It makes it frustrating not being able to complete the collection and disappointing for my daughter (as for many other kids I'm sure). I guess I was lucky to have found Wham Shell for Spyro's Adventure.

In AU the last triple pack and bash is still available almost everywhere... Its not swarming the shelf but its still conviniently available..

Ahh so single bash came out again with the triple? if so then maybe US will follow if/when we get these.

That's very possible. No real way to know for sure other than "wait and see", but I agree that this August/September respite from Skylanders stocking in many stores will be followed by a deluge of Skylanders re-stocking in October and November.

My stores have recently started restocking the most recent wave of stuff. Stores that had nothing new for a month or two now have s2 spyro etc. Maybe they halted production on giants to make sure swap force was ready to go? Just a thought.

I distinctly think they are not keeping up with demand (or had to prepare for Swap Force), and this is exactly the reason.

I gotta at least half-heartedly disagree here. I wasn't into Skylanders when Giants released last year, but I did start getting into it a couple months later during the Christmas shopping season. I can say with certainty that there was still LOTS of SSA merchandise on the shelves in stores last December, along with the newer-released Giants merchandise.

I think they will have room. Walmarts by me are having a 2nd display in toys and i noticed this in Virginia, ny and pa as of early last month. I asked someone why they are there and they said because they are toys. From personal experience the other day i was in toys looking for TMNt for the wife and overheard a woman talking to her friend looking for skylanders for their grandson. I told them to try electronics. Ppl with no knowledge of skylanders think its a toy( it is but more) and only a toy and where are toys?, in toys!!.

Target has for awhile had a small 3-6 peg area on the side of the end of the aisle for awhile now,m however i've noticed recently they are taken an end of an aisle and have a few pegs with of skylanders above the skylander tree rex gloves, tricker happy's gun and ignitors sword. Now in the targets i went to this is not in toys. It's on the same side as toys (think clothings as the middle)but it boarders boys clothing and stationaryish area.

Toysrus in the past as put skylanders where holiday items/back to school/summer stuff etc goes. I know around xmas and for awhile after they put them in electronics and by the front where you walk in (but not too close to the door etc). Now in my store they share an aisle with infinity on one said skylanders on another. However the aisle next to electronics has the skylander toys so i guess it could expand or giants could go there.


On another note, holding off giants final stuff does give ppl more skylanders to find in Oct then just swap force. It would give ppl jetvac/bash/spyro/hotdog/slam bam/shroomboom/lc hex/hex and possible punch pop fizz in ADDITION to the new stuff to choose from. If your just joining the hunt or shortly have joined it does give you alot of figures to choose from before counting wave 1 of swap force. If wave 1 disappears the shelves will not be empty compared to Disney as they will have giants stuff sitting there.

Yeah, last November-December was the best opportunity to get a hold of Series 2 Bash. At the moment, just based on how the Skylanders have been distributed over the past 6-ish months, the hardest Giants series characters to locate in stores are Bash and Zook, and to a lesser extent, Ignitor and Chill. All the "big box" stores have only been receiving the assortment that contains Slam Bam/Flameslinger/Spyro/Wrecking Ball/Double Trouble/Lightning Rod/Stealth Elf/Drobot/Hex/Hot Dog over the past 2-3 months in the USA (if the store has been receiving any new stock at all).

I can't remember when I got mine, it was earlier in the year but there were a whole load of them with Flameslinger and Gill Grunt. I didn't think he'd be so scarce! I have yet to see the triple pack with Bash in it hanging around.

You know what I remember? The section for skylanders DOUBLING! I see either more real estate adjustment come release time, but rest assured--you'll see Giants stock.

I am not sure if it was a post in here or in another thread that said this but I will re-post.... Make sure you check the actual toy section. I know of at least three wal-marts that have put Skylanders in the toy section. They were located in next to the Wrestling figures. Worth a shot if you are looking for a certain fig.

Check Best Buy. They've gotten Wave 2 lately.

I think they are discussing for the states... Us in oz have different assortment from them...

I see them at Walmart all the time.

I went out to Target and Walmart this week and didn't see S2 Bash. On Amazon he is $55! I ended up just getting a S1 and legendary S1 Bash loose on eBay which were, to buy both, half the price of a new S2 Bash.

I bought my bash for $4 at jcpennys clearance sale after xmas. The only other time I saw him was like april-ish when he and flameslinger started to reappear briefly for some reason and then both vanished again (thou flame came back in the latest assortment)

Just found one at my local target... I suggest asking them to look in the back Thats what i did
