Nobody has mentioned getting bugged gifts from level 36+ players. So I think they are still getting good gifts from us. We are just getting nothing in return. smilie

Thanks! I will definitely not waste my time visiting the islands, but I rarely do that anyway.

I thought the prize pay-outs were based on a formula that calculated the cash, XP and energy values of the prizes based on level. With this bug, I'm thinking there is an explicitly defined prize table, and the devs forgot to fill it with values for levels 36-40. This would mean that receiving prizes from gifts, or sending the invitations while visitng would be bugged, but sending gifts to some level 1-35 will still work for them.

They have forwarded our info to the developers. They will be getting back to those of us who posted on Facebook.

The developer who posted on the other thread earlier will have read these threads as well.

They may not have entered the multiplier or formula (however they calculate gold and exp amounts) for lvl 36+ and the code might go into a default routine which results in no prize.

I've already stopped gifting or visiting ALL players. The more players that suffer from this botched level cap increase, the quicker it's likely to be fixed.

self·ish
[sel-fish]
adjective
1. devoted to or caring only for oneself; concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, etc., regardless of others.
2. characterized by or manifesting concern or care only for oneself: selfish motives.

I'm 28% of the way through level 36, and am suffering the same bug that plagues everyone else, but that won't stop me from gifting friends level 35 and under.

Please confirm for us that you have a full roster of 100 friends to sort through. While you are at it, please point me to YOUR submission on Activision Assist asking for this problem to be fixed. Because I couldn't find anyone else apart from myself who could be bothered to report the problem. Awaiting your reply.

Yep. That's pretty much what I expected from BachChava. Too damn lazy to report the problem, too damn lazy to respond to a reply, but perfectly happy to throw stones at others. I can only assume this player has now crawled back under their rock. I hope the rock is loose and terrifyingly heavy.

Your response confirmed what I initially stated, there was no need for me to reply. Get over yourself.

My reporting the problem to Activision confirmed for you that I'm selfish? Are you for real? You lob a hand grenade, then slink away like a coward, and I'm the one the needs to get over myself? My name is Warren Bond. My activate ID is woz. I live at XXXXXXX. My phone number is XXXXXXX. My email address is XXXXXXXX. You on the other hand appear to be just one more anonymous troll. Congratulations. You've got the reaction you were looking for. Now, if you've got nothing to actually CONTRIBUTE to this site, feel free to move along.

Edit: details removed as advised below.

Woz,
As much as I like to see how people behind the nickname live and what they drive (a yellow daewoo matiz smilie)
I would urge you to remove all your personal information, spambots being the least and identity theft probably the worst that could happen.

Now that is damn funny. I drove not one, but two yellow Daewoo Matiz. The first one lasted six months before I wrote it off. I immediately went out and bought an identical one. The second one died about a year ago after 13 years of extremely hard service. I drove that car places it never dreamed of going. Forded rivers (you have to get a really good run up), ripped the skid plate off the bottom of the car down a FWD only track, and drove the car so hard that for the first time, I exploded an engine. I'd never heard an engine go bang before followed by the sound of tinkling metal bits dropping all over the road. I probably would have bought a third one, but they discontinued them in Australia a few years back.
PS. Info edited.

Ex-Daewoo driving bastich. ;-) I've sent everyone a gift each day since the cap bug was fixed. Only reason I know this for sure is that I now send everyone's at the same time each day, and in 6h 13 minutes, everyone will be getting another one. Of course it's always possible I'm wrong. Time travel could confuse things, and I was about to purchase a house for 350 gems but thought I'd better zip forward a day to see what the daily offer was first. Just as well I did. A particular shrine I still needed two of was 50 per cent off tomorrow. Shrines come first for me, houses can be won in the well later if need be. And of course I'll eventually have filled my shrine quota, so the houses will get a fair go then.

Quite a story, I almost feel sorry for the poor car.
I have never driven my car that hard; or off-road for that matter, not much outback in the Netherlands!smilie A few kilometers of unpaved road is as wild as it gets here. smilie
I drive a Skoda Octavia at the moment but saw the Matiz parked in front of your house on google streetview.

God I'm an idiot. I thought you mentioning the Matiz was a pure coincidence. Google Streeview! You must have been extremely bored.

If you hadn't pulled down your address, I would have done the same by now. Which is why it was a darn good idea you pulled down your address!
