I nominate Kingdom Hearts II because it is a perfect blend of Disney of Final Fatasy with its own flare thrown in perfectly coupled with beautifully orchestrated music though this could be said for the series itself. Out of thes eries, KH2 stands out in the graphics as well as the combat system. Some of the movements such as when Sora casts fire magic and many of the combo sequences are elegantly coreagraphed giving stunning visiuals. The story is great, though giving a great twist in the middle making thinks complicated as to who is Ansem. Expanding on the ever-popular Organization XIII from Chain of Memories adds for great and even difficult battles.

I believe Super Paper Mario should be nominated because I said so.
Its a really good game, very dark for a Mario game. The twist at the end surprised me, and left me hating to finish the game. One thing in the game brought me almost to tears. Many parts of it were tricky and hard to figure out.

I nominate Fire Emblem: Awakening.
For the possible last game of it's series, this game sure did make many fans happy. Due to this being the last game, the developers has one last chance to input all the ideas they had, and due to their ideas, they brought us many great things! I love the Marriage Support, and the additional DLC for extra maps, bringing back all the nostalgia from the past games, and the Streetpass was just used incredibly! I loved battling others, testing my strength against other people instead of the AI from enemies. The story of the game was fantastic, has it's own plot twists, and I believe if this game ever had a sequel that directly came out of this, I would buy it immediately.

I believe Pokemon Emerald should be nominated because of how well thought out the plot and game was. It was really a blend of action and a great adventure and fun with my Pokemon friends with me. It was back in the simpler times and i liked it. I was probably one of the few people who loved the Physical-Types and Special-Types lol. Plus, the contests man~ They were the best! The game also had a ton of my favorite Pokemon up until that point! I always get all nostalgic and feel happy whenever I pick up my gameboy and play it. Best Pokemon game hands down for me.

Ugh, it's time I faced facts and leave behind my nostalgia for 'Spyro 2'...

I believe Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door should be nominated because of just how well made this game is. This game is near perfection in my eyes, the plot was nowhere near the average generic Mario storyline, sure Peach did get kidnapped, but not by Bowser, by a group of villains known as the X-Nauts that wish to use her body as a vessel to awaken a thousand year old demon queen that once killed thousands of citizens and almost wiped out all of Rogueport... yeah, needless to say I love this plot, every single sub-plot in the game is also extremely entertaining, from climbing your way to the top in the wresting rink 'The Glitz Pitz', to being stranded at sea on a beautiful tropical island, to solving the mystery of the missing passengers aboard the train to the Poshley Heights, I love 'em all! Nearly every character is very three-dimensional and each have a some sort of humor to them (This game is seriously funny). The gameplay is just the right amount of similar the last game's but still improving alot to make it feel fresh, with a wide range partners to chose from, badges to equip and items to use,t his RPG is anything but repetitive. The level designs and soundtrack are also very stylized and gorgeous, I love nearly every single location and track in the mammoth of game. Around every corner in this game is something that's bound to make you smile, and that is why it's my favorite game of all time.

Ohh... sorry Spyro 2 >.<

I believe ObsCure should be nominated because for me, it's the ONLY Coop Survival Horror game I have ever seen, not something like the brand new Resident Evil games (4 to 6), this IS a REAL Survival Horror game, I'm a big fan of Horror games, but this one it took my atention for years. The plot was like every game, "everything seems to be okay until something horrible is going to happen and the game begins". You start playing the game as 1 of the 5 main characters, this characters are students from an old high school, you start the game in single player, until you try to figure out what's come on and find another random character and the game explain to you how the game works when you play alone or with someone (local). There is something very interesting about this game, you choose to which character use to play the game, every character has his own special ability to solve puzzles, finding useful items, running from a dangerous fight or fight your enemies. But you have to be careful, because if your character dies, it's game over for him/her, that means, the character is dead and you can't bring him/her back to life. The gameplay is easy to understand, the storyline is a bit linear but you can revisit every part of the school, the enemies are nasty, because every single enemy are human body parts and mutations with a very interesting concept art. Of course the game has difficulty settings: Easy, Normal and Hard. But something that you shouldn't forget about this game is always use any kind of light source, because it's your key to survive in this game, ammo and health packs can be a great help in Easy and Normal, but in Hard, you have to run, even if you have plenty of ammo and health (something that is extremely weird because in Hard mode there is no much supplies). Of course, coop mode can get the things a bit easier, but if your partner dies, you'll be alone until you get to the safe point where the other characters are and replace him/her, sad don't you think?. The OST of the game is nice, most of the tracks are french orchestra. For new players, you'll find the danger and creepy stuff in every room, even when you have to solve a puzzle while your partner has to protect you and so on, try to don't stay in a room for too long because the enemies will try to kill you, hehehe...

For all this reasons and more (If I miss any detail...), ObsCure it's the best Surival Horror game I have ever play and one of my favorite games in my whole videogame experience.

I believe Super Mario 64 should be nominated, it is one of the reasons gaming is what it is today, with great graphics for it's time, it's one of the best games in history. I mean come on, why wouldn't it be nominated. It's an amazing game, with great gameplay, awesome levels, great exploration, a awesome, completely controllable camera and simple Mario greatness. The new power ups are awesome, fun to use, and have great themes. It's a simply amazing game, and that's why I think it should be nominated.

I believe Assassin's Creed II should be nominated because of how well it managed to make a sequel better than its predecessor in almost every way.

Assassin's Creed II took a formula of a great new IP and made it even better. The huge upgrades from the last game to this one are absolutely tremendous. This game focused more on adding numerous elements to gameplay, while also having one of the best stories and characters of any game I've played. The journey Ezio Auditore goes on to becoming an Assassin is a great example of how to develop a character. Throughout playing the game, you connect with Ezio in his situations, like when his father and brothers are murdered. You begin to care for him and his quest, as with all the other characters. As for Desmond... I never really liked Desmond's side of the story, but this game probably has the best story involving him, mainly because the growth between Desmond and Lucy, and his growth with the other characters, Shaun and Rebecca. The gameplay, like I mentioned, adds tremendously onto the last game, but it doesn't to the extent that it's too overwhelming, like Assassin's Creed III. Each area is big, but not too big, which adds the sense that makes each area confined. And thanks to elements such as buying armor and weapons, the combat system has improved a great amount. it also includes a great soundtrack, fluent and faster control, and tons of replayability.

It made the series become a staple in Ubisoft's career, improved everything that made the last game so great, while at the same time not make it feel underwhelming or overwhelming like future games did, and created excellent gameplay and excellent story, and that's why I believe it should be nominated.

I believe Nights into Dreams or Nights into Dreams HD should be nominated because for a Saturn game it was very good. The gameplay is very fluid, the graphics fit the theme, and the music..... is GREAT!!
Each stage's track mixes in a sort of feeling like your dreaming while fitting the theme for each level, and the bosses have their own theme in their tracks depending on their design or battle style, say Puffy's sounds like it has opera mixed in it,and Clawz's is very fast paced and I think I heard a few meows in there. The graphic are very good and make you feel like you are actually in a dream. The gameplay is very simple yet challenging, while the controls were nice and responded quickly.Over all,one of the best games I ever played.

Hmmmmmmmm.................OH! I nominate Donkey Kong 64 because this game, along with Banjo Kazooie, defined my childhood. It was about an Island called DK Island in the shape of Donkey Kong's head. Now this island inhabited the 5 playable characters: Donkey Kong, the big loveable ape, Diddy Kong, DK's small sidekick, and introducing Tiny Kong, A girl monkey that is fast and can hover with her pigtails, Lanky Kong, the clown-nosed overalled long-armed clown monkey, and Chunky Kong, the slow but strong gentle giant gorilla. So Donkey's chillin in his tree fort when King K Rool steals all his banana's and locks the 4 Kongs in levels around the Island. And if you learned 1 thing from Donkey Kong Country, it's that stealing banana's from DK is murder-level crime. So he goes around the various worlds nabbing banana's and freeing his buddies with the help of 3 other Kongs: Cranky Kong, DK's grandpappy that teaches him and the gang moves, Funky Kong, who gives the Kong's weapons, andCandy Kong, who supplies instruments---of death. These instruments also kill or damage baddies. Now, Donkey Kong had a Coconut Bazooka, Diddy had Peanut Popguns (Pistols basically) Tiny Kong had a Feather Dart Shooter, Lanky had...Something that shoots grapes, and Chunky had Pineapple Grenades. The gang's instuments were banana's pardon the pun, and they were: Donkey had Bongo's, Diddy had a Rock Guitar, Tiny had a Sacophone, Lanky had a Trombone, and you probably think the big strong guy of the group has a gigantic weapon, right? A tuba, a Drum Set, maybe even a grand piano, right? NOPE! He gets a triangle. Now this game had possibly the best rap in video game history, and rightfully so. Look up the DK Rap on youtube. No, don't overlook that, Youtube the DK Rap. You hear me? LOOK. UP. THE. DK. RAP. I know you didn't cause if you are reading this, you aren't doing that. Look it up. And back on topic, the developers Rareware are to thank for this. Thank you RareWare, This game, Diddy Kong Racing, and the Banjo Kazooie Games were the greatest.

I think Super Smash Bros. Brawl should be nominated for many reasons. Now, before you say I am obsessed, let me give you my reasons.
For example, it is a great game to play with your friends, siblings, family members, you name it. You can fight competitively or for fun. A great chance to bond with your competitor overall. You can also team up to conquer bosses, which not only improves your playing experience, but also creates a nice memory. Overall, a great game for co-op play.
Also, the possibilities of characters are endless. Dark Link? Red Falco? Lime Peach? You name it. With several characters to choose from when all are unlocked to the color palettes, it is a wonderful touch of customization. It's also great to tell players apart when they are the same character. Awesome feature.
Furthermore, it's just fun. A great game to play on a rainy day. Also great to kill time with. A nice fighting game with Wi-Fi battling to increase your skill level. You can never get bored with this game; as there are many unlockables: Characters, stages, trophies, songs and more. An awesome game with several collectible items.
In conclusion, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a decent game, and I believe it should be nominated for the reasons mentioned above... And a lot more.

I'll keep this short:

I think that Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (I know, its an old game) should be nominated because it had a good story line, great characters and is very fun. Now, the graphics aren't the best, especially when compared to other games, but it was meant to look like a comic book, or a cartoon, and I think that adds onto the appeal.

Theese games are the best!!! Definetly voting for them.

I will be the only person to vote for this game, and PLEASE resist the urge to troll me.

*may contain spoilers*

Shadow the Hedgehog - Just chill out people. This game has the best intro to a game ever. Coupled with my favourite game song ever, it is just amazing, and that is before the game even starts! The game holds something that most other Sonic games don't, the game is actually serious. I will admit that the aliens look a little stereotypical, but at least Black Doom's design was unique. Also, the whole controversial "weapons" thing, um, well it makes the game better, and more realistic, if you defeated a robot with a gun would you just leave it on the ground?

The game starts with Shadow trying to remember about his past, when Black Doom appears and tells him to collect the chaos emeralds "as promised", and in exchange, he will tell Shadow about his past. So, the aliens invade, and Shadow heads off to find the chaos emeralds. Depending on how you play the game, the story will be different, in some cases he saves the world, others he destroys it, and sometimes he thinks he is an android. There are a total of 21 different levels, with either 2 or 3 missions each. The missions will lead to different levels, depending on which one you decide to do. There is always a Light and a Dark mission, along with a normal mission in most cases. The bosses are interesting, especially Sonic & Diablon. Others include Egg Breaker, Black Bull, Heavy Dog, Black Doom, Egg Dealer, and Blue Falcon.
If you clear all the endings, you will unlock the Final story, which is what really happens. If you manage to get perfect in every level on all missions, you will unlock expert mode.

Overall, this is my favourite game of all time, and I don't really care that a lot of other people hate it.

I nominate Professor Layton. There is no one game to choose because I'm my opinion they are all astounding. Many just believe its a puzzle game, but it's more than that. It involves very well thought out plots for each game; each one very dark and mysterious resolution or final solution to the final mysteries. The puzzles only add to the games magnificent story line. They really make you think and each puzzle becomes more challenging, adding to the excitement. This game is not as popular as other games and I wish it received more recognition. It's fun test me and deserves a spot.

I believe that The Saboteur is my favourite game of all time, because I've never experienced a war game where it actually is fun to play around in, just think Grand Theft Auto but in the 1940's in Paris, the scenery is beautiful, the main character who is Irish, and goes by the name of Sean Devlin can be quite humourous. I think the gameplay is really good, and the missions are quite interesting, and there's more than one way of dealing with a mission. There's plenty of things to do in freeroam, I have never seen a world war game that let's you freeroam. And what I find to be really interesting is that at first all of the areas you visit are in black and white, and when you complete side missions, and main missions, these eventually change into colour. Now there are a couple of aspects that have been taken from other games, like the colour changing is from inFamous, and the climbing up buildings is from Assassin's Creed. But all in all, I find this game to be a unique, fun experience on the PS3. I have even completed this game a good few times in a row when I first got it, and loved it. I've got a feeling I'll be playing it again some time soon.

AND this game is so under-rated...

Super smash bros brawl

Its basically all the epic nintendo games put in to one master of all games, all of them fighting it out to see who`s the best. Or storymode, it make all the characters seem like that they must belong in the same game all together! It also brings back memories of quite old games due to the 'masterpieces' mode, Where you can play retro games like 'Kid Icarus' to some N64 games such as StarFox 64!

Crash Bandicoot: Warped is my nomination.

Pretty much one of the best non-Nintendo platformers I've played. Along with the great storyline: The Cortex Vortex crashes into the Uka Tree, unleashing Uka Uka. Cortex was somehow sent plans from Uka Uka, but he failed him. Uka introduces a new recruit, Dr. Nefarious Tropy, who created a device that allows you to travel in time, to where the Power Crystals were originally found. Uka then recruits Tiny, Dingodile, N. Tropy, N. Gin, and Cortex to retrieve them before Crash obtains them.
It's absolutely brilliant! Who would've guessed they would take the "Evil Doctor" thing this far?
Now, the platforming. Each level is amazingly well designed, with secrets around every corner. Each time period is extremely detailed, with hilarious enemies (And deaths) everywhere. The platforming levels are great, but after a few of them, they throw in other levels, like underwater swimming levels, Pura n' Coco run levels, Motorcycle levels, and Plane levels. Every level has something diverse in it, and the difficulty makes you come back every time!
The music is some of the best you'll ever hear on the Playstation. Catchy tunes for all the fun levels, and sinister themes for the tough levels.
The bosses are very fun, and they have the perfect difficulty.
The cutscenes are gorgeous! They have amazing quality for the PS1, and they have the perfect voice actors. They do crack an occasional joke, which is hilarious.
When you beat Cortex for the first time: "Defeated again! This is not fair! Maybe I should retire to a nice, big beach, with a nice, big drink, and a woman with nice, big, bags of ice for my head!

I congratulate Naughty Dog for designing such an awesome game.

Overall, this is my favorite game of all time. Bring back Crash, Naughty Dog!

By the way, I fixed the Nominees post. smilie

Stupid question; but can we nominate more than 1 video game? I have 2 that haven't been mentioned, I'll just do one for now xP

I believe Ape Escape should be nominated because it was just a well planned, enjoyable game with a brilliant soundtrack and characters. It made full use of the newly-released (at the time) analogue controllers which gave it a different feel to play, took a bit to get the hang of but it felt more...I dont know, like you were more in control. I loved the story, the characters, the challenges of trying to catch all the monkeys using various gadgets...and let's not forget the addicting mini-games too (personally, I loved Galaxy monkey, I could have played it for hours XD). Generally, this game made full use of all the controller's features in a challenging, fun and creative way - I think that's why it should get a say in this. :3

I nominate Super Metroid; It has very fun gameplay, exploration and secret-finding and it's a lot of fun to replay the game to sequence break, get all of the upgrades and weapons, speed run or complete as fast as you can or a combination of these. Not only that, it has fantastic music, great graphics for its time, a huge amount of content for its time and for only $8.00, it's a bargain.

I nominate Super Mario Galaxy 2 because even though SMG pretty much made the best 3D Mario ever(Sm64 would be next.), SMG2 went one step ahead and bettered it. Firstly, new powerups added a heap of fun to the gameplay, and also a creative storyline was told throughout it. Plus, the music was so good, I liked music for a bit(Who could forget Gusty Garden?). I need to continue in spoiler.
And when the game was beaten, the Green Stars helped to provide a brand new campaign to the game, and when it was over, the most hardcore galaxy was unlocked and it was certainly a challenge.

I could go on for hours, but I would bore you all. Basically, it's a masterpiece and anyone who owns a Wii or a Wii U should play this.

I think that's kind of pointless... if it's what you want to win, why shouldn't you be able to vote for it? Not to mention it could completely skew the results.
