Finally found a chase variant in a store. It was at the very back of some others at Wal-mart today. I could not believe I finally found oneI was beginning to think it would never happen to me. It has a new home in our showcase with our other flocked variants. A friend of mine saw 3 Darklight crypts at same wal-mart a few days ago. Thats what I went after but ended up with something better.

Its amazing that these have been showing up across the country. I had heard of them at wal-mart but not anywhere else. My friend saw 3 a couple days ago and did not get any. I went to same store and they were gone like the wind. Congrats on finding one in a store. I have one sealed but its a error where they did not paint ghost roasters arm. I will never open that one but would like to find another to open.

My Japanese toys arrived! I got

Walmarts by me don't stock adventure packs but the targets always do so i kept checking them for about the past week, i was in this store thursday as i work in the area but on sunday i never go here, but I happened to be in the area and figured i'd look and I was in total shock, i got that rush like I found gold lol. 1 down, 2 to go

We're always hunting at every store. I'm sure we're not any different from the members on this forum; that even if we are out shopping (not for skylanders), we manage break off from the group to check out the nearby stores stock (I'm sure it irritates my wife but wth lol). It's good to know that people are finding these guys in the wild. It's sad from a parents point of view that in order to get a rare variants is to resort to fleabay extortionist. I am not about do that which is why my collection will never be complete.

It's difficult because my son knows the true retail value of the characters, but is a completionist at heart too. I'm glad he can live without the variants if we can't find them at retail stores. If we do find one it will make that character more special ( We guess that's what it's about, or at least that is what we tell ourselves).
