I nod, trembling under the dresser. My midnight blue eyes sparkle as I gaze up at her. My tiny form is invisible within the darkness but my eyes seem to glow in the dark. My ears twitch as I listen to her words.

I nod and slowly climb out from under the dresser. It is then Marie sees just how small and adorable I truly am. My midnight blue eyes glisten like the night sky, while my pure snow-white feathered form is the moon's light. My feathers are softer than silk.

Unsure what else to say or do, I nod. My midnight blue eyes sparkle as I gaze up at Marie. I rub my body against her and lay down beside her. Letting out an adorable little yawn I fall asleep beside her, curling up into a little ball.
