I agree about both. I saw Swarm at both TRU and Wal-Mart. I've seen Gnarly Tree Rex as TRU.

They do VHTF to redirect people searching for actual VHTF skylanders into looking at their post.

Swar could be i guess hard in some areas to find. I know 2 targets that have a few and 3 that have only crusher and hothead, so who knows.

Swarm?!? VHTF?!? ARE THEY CRAZY?!? SWARM IS THE MOST COMMON SKYLANDER OF ALL!!! (after the starter pack itself) And he's also my least favorite of all. (no offense to anyone who likes Swarm)

This isn't the first time I've seen this, and it won't be the last. Some doofus eBay sellers put "VHTF" in EVERY listing they create, no matter how "hard to find" the item actually is in reality. Apparently, some Buyers use search terms like "VHTF Skylanders" ... which is dumb in my opinion, but that's beside the point. As long as (dumb) Buyers put a term like "VTHF" in their searches frequently, there will be Sellers that believe they MUST include "VTHF" in EVERY single listing.

How is this surprising? It happens in any online market, people always looking for ways to catch sales by whichever means.

Sounds like good business sense to me, if however unscrupulous. It's always a buyer beware market.

Sorry about that. Tree Rex is easy to find. The only problem is you have to buy the starter packs to get him. I do have an extra Tree Rex but it just doesn't seem worth the effort to put it on eBay to sell. |

I haven't seen much of Swarm in a long time. Him and Bouncer used to be the easiest to find, but now neither can be found, at least in my area.

I know that not every part of the USA has BJ's Wholesale/Warehouse club stores, but if you do have one near you, and for whatever reason you're looking for Swarm or Bouncer, BJ's stores are STILL saddled with lots of "wave 1" Giants (Swarm/Bouncer/Crusher) that they've had on the shelves since (literally) last year. They are perma-clearance priced, too, at $9.99, and have been for months.
