Prologue:

Pokèmon trainers from all over the land train their most powerful Pokèmon. Once a year, they are split into teams of two and fight on a themed board, cast with magic that evolves the stage into a different setting. The ruler of the Purest of the Pure, Squirtle, trains her team with pride and pure powers. The ruler of the Darkest of the Dark, Shiny Zoroark, rivals Squirtle and her team and trains his team with dark powers and confidence. Soon, training is over, and the brawl begins. Whose team will be called victorious? The Ashes, Squirtle's gang from the beach, or The Antis, S.Z.'s ragtag group on the block?
