Looks like the devs have come up with a nice little compromise on the date/time issue. I've just received a single screen giving the important 24 hour only portion of Super Tuesday's special bonuses at midnight. The full update hasn't arrived yet, but the time critical part has so non-US players don't miss the full 24 hours of bonuses. Seems to be a good solution all round.

The daily deal hasn't arrived yet, but since that's related to a permanent purchase, it hardly matters if we get that at the start or the end of the day.

I'm glad to see they are finally finding a fix for the non-US east coast.

Did you get a Monday's event yet? Usually they add new quests.

Yay! Gill Runt. I was bummed last week because we only had Whisper Elf and Gill Runt. I figured they would eventually add Gill Runt, but Trigger Snappy was one I thought my son would really want when we got ours at Gamestop during the Skylanders event, but he ended up picking Gill Runt instead. I think he was going back and forth between them, though, and just settled on one. I still like Trigger Snappy better, though . Now I have to decide to put him on my wife's account so she can have a sidekick or on mine since I play the game more. I really wish I could afford to get a Bluetooth portal, but spending any extra money is currently out of the question.

Ah, spoke too soon. Today's bonus is 3X the energy for crops. Although I've received the notification screen, and it's Tuesday here in Australia, the bonus isn't paying out - yet. I assume it will activate when the update is uploaded.

Still spoke too soon, unless I'm reading the Super Tuesday screen wrong. "Ol'Mac & Arbo! Up to 75 per cent faster growing times & 3X the energy from crops! Today only!"

Crops still take the same time and there's no 3X bonus. So I don't know what the hell they're talking about. Unless you've actually got to have them both to get the bonus, but there's no 'take me there' button if you're expected to make a purchase. Purchased FIVE additional Radiant Energy Fields today to exploit today's non-appearing bonus too...

I just got Gill Runt and the times quests to appear. No crop specials or anything in central USA, but it's only mid Monday.

If you have the gold, you can spin for him.

Anyone notice a pattern?

- a Super Tuesday bonus that only works if you make a HUGE purchase with gems
- a timed request that requires two sidekick purchases with gems
- a new companion purchasable with gems
- a new sidekick purchasable with gems
- a new house purchasable with gems
- a sale on a companion that costs a boatload of gems
- and one free quest which can net you a house.

But wait, there's more.

- a new and improved hidden offer which for $26 will now give you gem pack 4 but with more gems than before.

I'm hoping I spin for him between now and the end of the month so I can justify buying his house. I'm half-tempted to buy his house any way so I don't miss it, but his won't be the first house I've missed (or likely the last).

I'm pretty upset over the fact that they put Old Mac on for 50% off (even though hes fairly new) when just yesterday they ended a timed quest that required his purchase.

So yes I purchased him yesterday for the full 3500 price tag only to see him going for 1750 today. Thats alot of "wasted" gems, or about 25$ by Gem store prices. Not going to make the mistake of buying companions at full price ever again.

Just a heads up, but don't buy cape girl. Super Tuesday next week has her at 25% off.

Yea, they've been doing that with every companion for a while now.

I agree Prime. I did the same thing. The extras would have come in handy to get Flynn or Cali at half-off.

I just noticed radiant energy fields are 75% off.

Has anyone figured out what todays bonus actually is?

I just checked. The energy fields say it is the daily offer.

Now I am really confused the offer with Arbo and Calli has disappeared.

Well super tuesday is supposed to be a game changing event so I guess they tried to give us the effect of the two but its bugged. If so, this would be the second bugged super tuesday. I am thinking back to the disappearing gold chests....

I did have enough gold to spin, but I spent it to build some buildings for a quest (I just hit level 30, so I needed a lot to get the building quests). But I'm not planning on spinning for a while. Since we don't have a Bluetooth portal, my wife and I have had to split the Skylanders. Ever since they went to paying gold to spin, I've only gotten Skylanders we already have (which is practically all of them except for variants). I'd rather wait until I can get a Bluetooth portal to add all the Skylanders and then spin to get the ones I don't have.

Activate only allows one use. Pre-Activate, you could use them several times.

It seems to me like the Super Tuesday is just intended to give you 75% faster and more energy from crops if you own Ol' Mac and Arbo. I don't see a bug here other than it's a Super LAME Tuesday and doesn't mean anything to me.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if they changed the rules. I happened to come across our Ninjini web code that had gotten lost from the rest. My son had out her on my wife's account (which bummed me out when I won her house in the wishing well), but I decided to try it on a whim. It worked! I then thought maybe I was confused and he had just won her on a spin so I tried other codes that she had used and they all worked.
